same layout as many titles but still different artwork for AAB.
Three of the roll overs are also labeled A B C.

    #318 8 years ago

I have a NOS Elvis play field which has also been professionally clear coated. What is this worth? Curious and am not selling at the moment.

    #319 8 years ago

This was just removed from a home use game and replaced, it had a buffing pad on it too long and took some of Batman's face off and the shoot again, could be restored, could be used as a wall hanger, def could use a wet sanding as there are minor scratches down the middle area.
Shipping extra, have a box to ship it in, and local pickup is free of course.
    300.00

Had a few people PM if I would go lower, so new price 250 plus shipping.

Me either, but there are some amazing people out there who can fix it.. I am NOT one of those people.

    Quoted from Squeakman:

    No, it's not just you:

    El Dorado - 1 player
    Solar Fire - 2 player
    Gold Strike - Add-a-Ball
    Lucky Strike (Italy) - Add-a-Ball
    Target Alpha - 4 player
Canada Dry (France) - 4 player
El Dorado City of Gold - 4 player

Of the bunch I'm told El Dorado is the best one. I've only ever played Target Alpha and it's pretty good; can anyone else chime in?

    #324 8 years ago

NEED a Big Game NOS or at least restorable non-planked PF!!!

Personally, I prefer El Dorado too. Played it numerous time in the arcade and always liked the challenge. Never knew of the multiplayers but finally came across one at the Santa Cruz board walk (their last EM), and just didn't find it a challenge. All targets down, nothing left to do. The multiplayers have more liberal side drains. That's why in 5 balls (single player), you may not get all 15 targets down. But on the multiplayers, you can get all 15 down in 1 ball. After owning an ED for many years, I finally played the AAB at the museum in Asbury park. Also didn't like the altered rules. Played City of Gold at the Gottlieb distributor when it came out. Also didn't hold the charm of the original.

But Canada Dry us by far the best artwork of all if them!

I own an ED, and as I said in the past, it will most likely be the last EM to leave my collection.

that sucks and very difficult to fix. i've never had to fix a DK, so I don't have scans available for that field. IF I did, it would be a lot easier. Unfortunately when they use photoshopped pictures, you pretty much have to do water slides that are printed. Anything touched up by hand will stand out. Especially right in front of the flippers. it's shame, the rest of the field looks to be perfect.

Yeah, tell me about it, I had to buy another playfield and do a full swap, I could not live with my game like that.

Maybe you could take it to an art restoration place, after all it is art that has to be replaced.

I have a NOS installed with the new playfield protector over it, so I do not need it, just trying to recoup some of the cost of the new one and such. I am open to offers as well. I MAY go to Allentown so perhaps taking shipping out of the question might help.
