Not sure where else to ask… anybody near St Louis do playfield touch ups and then clear coat? Managed to get a NOS Lost World and it has one little nic in it that barley touches the 8.

Looking for a decent Stern Stars playfield to replace my blown out one.

    #3070 4 months ago

I bought a collection from a fella who was a manager at linc smith, and he always pulled one of each title for him self. So most of them have the front t nuts, and mylar patches, but dimpling was done on the production floor. So most are not dimpled, Including this one.

I will sell this NOS Road Show for 1100 shipped in the US. I dont see one nick or scratch.
There is a 'knot on the right edge, next to the shooter lane, but will be under the side rail, when installed.

Its a deal for sure. I dropped the price because I have sold all of the others. The funny thing is, if I saw it for sale for this price I would buy it for sure.
I have a problem with the pfs.

While I'm sure these prices for these playfields are typical, I have found that it's easier to buy an entire old machine here in alabama for $200-300 and just redo them, and still come out cheaper than buying a repro playfield. One great thing about living in the south is cost of living compared to everywhere else. I bought a prestine surf champ, and Big Deal from an estate sale, and gave $800 for both. Both needed rubbers, then fired right up, and played like new. Gotta love the south!

    #3076 3 months ago

I have a Wade Krause Centigrade 37 playfield that I bought with full intention to use by now and have since changed directions. I sold my really nice C37 a year back and the buyer didn't want to purchase the playfield. It has basically been in my closet for three years in the original wrapping paper from Wade. Only pulled out to ogle, inspect and take pictures.

I hate to sell this but it is time for this to go into a game. This is a really sought after playfield, silk screened, licensed and the work of a real artist. I can ship it in a wooden box for $100 to the continental US.

    PM me with your offer.

    Edit: Pf is sold

    #3078 3 months ago

Oh boy, that centigrade pf is so beautiful. Both the quality of the build, but also I just love that era of art. It reminds me of the artwork in the paper or catalogs for women's intimates. Also the stones album cover for "some girls"
Never owned that game but always wanted it.

I’d post this over in the original C37 playfield thread as they have been trying to gather names to get re-run of this… so there are people actively looking for one who may not see this post. I believe they $710+shipping if I’m not mistaken, you shouldn't have any trouble getting that for it.

You should be selling playfields left and right with those prices. Just run on down to the local flea market and tear-er down and part em' out.

I either restore them for my collection, or strip em for parts, and do wall hangers, and use parts for my homebrew builds. About to start on a supersonic 2.0 build. (Better playfield colors, and targets), then onto the next homebrew, and a eros one 2.0 led conversion, and upgrade.
