Quoted from Dee-Bow:Anyone that wants to practice shipping pf's can send me a Mousin Around or a Whirlwind !
lol... add me to that list of people willing to accept playfield shippers in training If you don't want to worry about how the playfield gets to me then this is perfect opportunity to see what the minimum amount of packing is that you can get away with shipping a playfield with! Looking for a well loved and worn Centigrade 37, would love to find one south of $200! It will NOT be restored, it will be repurposed into a guitar!
Added 8 months ago:C37 Playfield located, no longer require one!
Quoted from CraigC:I have a NOS prototype swords of furry Playfield. Panning on bringing it to pinball at the zoo
I'll also bring a Stern Ali Playfield, used, not amazing shape (most likely sold)
I reviewed the art differences on the swords of fury prototype, and there are a lot of them.
The spinners say magic shield instead of advance magic values
No avenger under the sword
Missing titan tunnel under release
Missing avenger when flashing
Inserts by upper ramp black not white
image (resized).jpgLast playfield I shipped UPS lost it. Good thing it was insured, which took 4 months to get them to pay up. Never again!!

Shipped literally hundreds of playfields and never had one lost.
Long reach but I'm looking for a populated playfield for a sega stern whitestar era game
I also have playfields for
Tri Zone
Galaxy
Paragon
Nitro ground shaker
These are for sale, make offer if interested. I posted them in pinfest thread so why not here.
I also have a few playfields/games that I'm restoring that I wanted to share (nfs)
Warlok
9 ball
Dark rider
Quoted from FantasticPinball:Shipped literally hundreds of playfields and never had one lost.
I've had it happen twice. One time was the NOS Champion Pub playfield, gone and lost forever. The other time was a NOS Harlem Globetrotters playfield. It left here and ten days later it showed back up here again with no explanation, the buyer decided it wasn't worth the hassle to try and have me ship it again since he feared it would get lost. UPS SUCKS!!
John
UPS never lost the hundreds I have shipped. I stopped insurance years ago when a playfield box had forklift tire marks to the box & broke the shooter lane. By not paying extra on insurance, covered any damage to the few glass or playfields that got abused myself.
Quoted from stevenb28:bring to pinfest in Allentown if anyone is interested. asking 400
That is one blurry mess.

Holy cow dude! You have a rare bird there in that Dark Rider. Love the Frazetta Art! There are no images of the playfield on the pinside database, and the only pictures on IPDB are blurry and ancient. You could do the pinball community a great service by uploading some pictures on pinside and sending these over to IPDB. Do you have one of these put together too?

What pin was the target for this conversion kit?
Quoted from pinster68:What pin was the target for this conversion kit?
Not mine, but it's a conversion kit for 1979 Bally Star Trek. A little more info here: https://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=3968&picno=79760

That is a beauty. I have also never seen one, and I have several conversion pfs for matta hari, globetrotters and miss world for kiss. May be a good idea to contact the IPDB if they want pics of it for history sake.
Here is a nos that I cleared, Painted the key lines around inserts that had cracks, sealed the back with poly.
After the last coat cured for 4 weeks I block sanded it level by hand and polished it out. Its also drilled and dimpled. I will sell for 1400
Looking for a CPR Flash Gordon playfield set if anyone has one spare. thanks!
Edit - sorted - thanks!
Looking for a populated Centaur/Centaur II playfield can be trashed/bare spots ugly whatever. Can be a cheap trashed machine too, trying to be cheap.

adding the word "populated" to the words "Centaur playfield" is one way to spell unobtainium. I've been there. You'll have a better chance of finding a whole machine than the mechs off a Centaur playfield.
Quoted from hiker2099:I am done switching my spider-man playfield out. What do you do with the old playfield?
Sell it to me. I use them as wall art
Quoted from Kolk1:Sell it to me. I use them as wall art
What do you do? clean them up and hang'em?
If it’s a game I like/own. Yes. I put them down the hallway leading to my arcade. Right now I have them all spread out until I slowly get more. Here’s a Galaxy I did last week. Some I did swaps in myself, some are new playfields to swap later when o get time. Some (TNA and Scooby) are because Spooky doesn’t sell banners. lol

Nice! I have several in mine also. I hang them using strong screws into studs, with post rubbers over them to protect the playfield. Then I just hang them on the post rubbers.

I just used step brackets, then used different screws and screwed them into the studs.
IMG_5087 (resized).pngWell then I'll sell it I guess. Spider-Man used playfield for sale. lol. Message me if you are interested.

Well, if this is the "Looking for playfields" topic, I think we've found them all. They are on TomDK's wall!
