Quoted from Colsond3:Could also use a Stern Dracula playfield if anybody has a NOS, or restored clearcoated one.
I am a big dracula fan, and it makes it even better since all of the pinball dracula games are awesome. I thought I was the only one into the classic stern. Bally made a 1 player vampire that is so cool. I have only seen one and it was at the ohio show. The pf glass lifts up like a car hood. I havent seen either come up for sale in forever. Game or pf. zilchola.
But I am always looking!
I have 72 new/nos pfs right now, and I still never have the title needed.

Very cool. I collect everything to do with vampires. Vampire is a two player. I restored mine. Here’s my old thread. My buddy did some pro touchup on it and we cleared the PF.
Now this is a game I will never sell.

wow!! I cant tell on the pf but that cab is beautiful. also its important to take apart those door mechs and clean each piece!!! I love it, very jealous (not in the mean spirited way. I wish I had one also).
The art work reminds me of one of the artists on adult swim shows. It may be the moral oral guy. One of those shows art style reminds me of bally vampire. I am going to be trying to think of that all night now.
Nice game! good for you.
Quoted from kruzman:wow!! I cant tell on the pf but that cab is beautiful.
Here’s a little before and after.
Quoted from mtbpinball:Looking for a playfield for a 1972 Williams Line Drive baseball pitch and bat.
Mine has wear on the players.
Since it will probably be impossible to find a field....
I would be interested in a playfield scan
Or finding a person in eastern PA 19438 that can do touch up work.

You’re in luck.
I have recreated all of the players. You could print them out onto decals and apply them directly to the playfield or water slide decal them and apply them onto the playfield.

This is the future of pf restoration. I have friends that have a vinyl cutting machine, so they can make decals of the text needed on many of the inserts. I dont have this machine, but a guy restored an old bally at the kzoo show last year. It looked fantastic. I could tell that all of the script and numbers were cut stickers, then cleared. It was a bon voyage I think. came out cool.
Looking for a populated Austin Powers pinball any condtion as well as a new old stock. Cheers

I upvoted this post because I like the pin and all the work you invetsed, but I will never become familiar with the powdercoat on this rare and beautifull machine. Also LED would be a nogo.

I don't understand 99% of the powdercoat people do, but this one actually looks very cool.

And I certainly appreciate your opinion, and the “purist” take.
Respectfully, a lot of the armor and metal was oxidized badly and rusted, and I tried to clean and polish it first but it wasn’t happening. So powder it was, and I chose Illusion Cherry to match the maroon-ish color in the backglass and on the playfield.
And ironically and cliche, I used sunlight LEDs. I wouldn’t put cool white in an EM, and I tried incandescents first. But it didn’t illuminate the excellent artwork and intricacy in the plastics enough.

And if you could see this machine in person, it might change your views. It IS spectacular!

Thanks for all the hard work! I sold the game 2 days ago... bummer!
There is a superman playfield listed on craiglist bay area california. He is selling it as package deal, with the machine, but maybe he'd consider splitting it up?
I don't know for sure but I think its a previous pinsider "Whitey".
It looks like a very well restored pf.
Quoted from Pbgixxer:Looking for NOS Scared stiff playfield
I have a reproduction I’ll let go of reasonably
There is a couple of the gottlieb wood rails with that art style, which I love. Knock out is one of them. There are a lot of folks who have never seen a knock out. check it out on the pin data base. Its by far one of the most collectable games out there. I had the chance to buy a populated knock out pf at a show about 12 years ago, and I thought 350 was too much for it. I will give myself another kick in the arse for that.

Quoted from GoldenOreos:what are stern premium playfields going for roughly these days?
Sorry fellas I know this is the playfield thread, but I’m down in the dumps today, I broke my backglass while working on a repro image for someone…. anyone have an original Gamatron Back plexiglass I could purchase ?
I am looking for an original :-/
(Bg resto has incorrect colors, Mayfair has none)
This 40 year old plastic is brittle I guess

Its difficult but not impossible to glue.
I have taken stuff to Tap Plastics for gluing and repair.
They can do good work.

It’s 2 pieces that broke off, I will try to repair it with weld on soon, waiting for some to arrive. Thank you guys for the support. We can resume normal Playfield talk

I have one that I would sell , sent you a PM
The 3 stern pfs I have cleared the most are (in order)
lotr
simpsons
monopoly
I did this about4 maybe 5 years ago. Since then its gone to the west coast and back. I just got it back from the fella I did it for originally, and it looks like I wet block sanded it yesterday. Some pfs move around a little in the years after clearing, and some a lot if they were new/fresh when I did them. Usually I need to run the polisher over them for a sec. This is how it came out of the box. price is 1150 or trade plus or minus.
For reference the clear on this cost 700$

Like glass.
I repost this every 6 months or so but no luck...
Actively looking for playfields for:
1. Gottlieb Big Indian (or Big Brave) Big Indian
Big Brave
2. Williams Jokerz! Jokerz!
3. Gottlieb Grand Slam Grand Slam
4. Williams Comet Comet
5. Williams F-14 Tomcat F-14 Tomcat
6. Data East Monday Night Football Monday Night Football
I've been surprised that the Big Indian/Brave and Jokerz! are not around. They were large production games. I think CPR did Comet in the past so I'm hopeful on that one.

I thought CPR was working on having their production switched over to on demand, e.g. getting all machines so they can just print individually as orders come in instead of having to do runs. May be worth asking them how far that is coming along.
I know cpr did cyclone, but I am not sure about comet. possibly. I have a nos big brave for about 8 years before I ran across someone that needed it. I think I still have the backglass.
I dont know its because I am getting old, or I just have so much pin stuff, but its super cool when I remember something I totally forgot I had.
Quoted from tomdrum:Looking for an NOS or CPR silkscreened EBD PF. Can pick up at Pinfest in May or pay shipping.
I have a repro EBD here that I cleared for a client, and then he didnt need it. I believe he wants to sell. I will check if you are interested.

Anybody grab a cpr phantom of the opera playfield. I have been on the waitlist for literally years, and just found out its been made and all sold out.
