I emailed seller to ask if the inserts were "glass flat" with rest of the PF after being cleared:
"Not that deep of a clear coat. I think it could use a second coat to even that out. Sorry."
Asked if he cleared it or knew what brand was used:
"No I didn’t clearcoat it. I can’t tell you what brand it would be. I got it out of storage fully populated in great shape. Dusty but cleaned right up. It sat since 2004. That’s as much as I know about it."
WTF- he stripped the PF down to sell it including the wiring braid and all lamps from the bottom?

OP: Bought this Last Action Hero playfield probably over a year ago. Realizing it's a project that I will never get to and mine isn't that bad, I'm offering it up for sale.
Asking $950 shipped which I believe is pretty close to what I paid for it.
I was told it was NOS and clear-coated but I have no paperwork. Nicest Last Action Hero playfield I've ever seen. It is not perfect, but close. Any imperfections are in areas that you would not see. I took pictures of everything

OP:I bought this Playfield about 10 years ago from an operator. He said it was an NOS new replacement for a game he had. Instead of using it they stole a few parts for the one in the game.
Other than some minor shelf wear, it's still pretty nice.

WOW! Can't believe they sold that like that. Even for a Bronze, that's bad.
But hell it's better then my original playfield.
Fun house pf for sale pre-drilled and cleared by HEP. Been on side rails since he returned it to me and hung on the wall. I’ve had it for 7 years he did the work 4 years ago. He also signed it that got to add extra value.
