Quoted from Steve_in_Escalon:New Pinsider, first post, rare parts, hmmm...
It would be nice if it was real.
Hello:
I am very surprised at your responses. My husband sold his collection of machines several years ago, and are now down to favorite 4. But we have a storage room of parts and pieces that he collected over many years. We are preparing to move homes, and would prefer not to move all these parts. If I have offended this forum in some way, I apologize.
Gina
Thank you very much for your help. It was purchased in 2010, and has been in the box ever since. Just looked at it, and the image is bright green.
Thanks again,
Gina
I suggest you post pictures of the parts with today’s newspaper to confirm their existence. The hologram and topper decal would prove to be quite valuable. It would also help to list your location so members could inspect and pick up the items.
That’s awesome, thank you. Don’t sell to the first person to respond. You’re most likely going to get some lowball offers. Good luck with the sale!
The Addams Family topper is not hard to find. Value would be around $150. Marco sells it blank for $129 and decals are $25.
The hologram is very hard to get. I would guess $600+ the right buyer comes along.
If the Whitewater decal IF foil etched it will also fetch big money. Same guess for this one at $600+.
Nice to see some rare items surface. I suggest some more pictures and be prepared for your inbox to be inundated with offers.

Agree on the Addams topper.
Too high on Whitewater decal. $350+, but not $600.
I think the hologram is high unless you find a buyer for a high-end restoration but that’s going to be the most in demand. I’d suggest auctioning it off. I’m not a big eBay fan but that might be the best way to maximize value.
Hologram is available.

$165 plus ship. Pretty good repro.
So NOS item is interesting. Had 2 of those as well and they also did not hold up well do to age. So if this has been hidden from light in that envelope....$350 ish.
Thank you all. I have a basement full of WPC 95 parts and pieces, new and used, that we need to sell rather than move. Your responses are very helpful. Thanks, Gina

Better to avoid auctions that involve paypal with rare items.

Agree although it would need to be confirmed to have waterfall effect. A bunch of reproduction decals were produced that failed to recreate the effect and are worth far less.

Will be interesting to see that else you may have!
If this helps, the hologram has been sealed in that box since it was purchased in April 2010. Thanks, Gina
There are dynamics happening with the Hologram that won’t show up until it is functioning in the game..That’s the scary part. In your hand with overhead light it will look great.,in game it can change. I know I wasted my money on one years ago. This one does look nice though.
WW decal pics coming. Husband has asked that I not open packaging without him. It is not a reproduction. NOS purchased many years ago. Perhaps these pictures will help understand what I am dealing with to try to sell. Thanks, Gina

If it is a nos etched wh2o decal....600 plus easy. These never pop up. Last one i recall seeing went for 800.
Gina,
That's one nice looking stash of parts!
The way I see it, you have two choices on selling everything. You can maximize your profits by selling them one by one yourself (which takes a lot of time and it seems you don't know the value of things) or you could sell it all in bulk to one individual. This is the easiest way to go but you'll have to sell at 50% - 75% of actual value. But it's the easiest and quickest way to deal with it.
I would imagine you've gotten a few private messages with offers already.
I really wish you were closer and I'd give you a hand. I'm retired and would love to help but distance makes it difficult.
Some of your NOS stuff is worth quite a bit. Some of it isn't worth more than what a reproduction piece is worth today. In fact, some reproduction pieces (ramps as an example) are worth more than the NOS piece.
As you've already seen, people's opinion on price is going to vary.
I would do this, if you want Pinside to help. You need to make a list of everything you have. Yeah, I know, it's a pain in the ass, but you need to. Share that list here and ask what everyone thinks it's all worth. You'll get some too low and some too high, but you can pick something in the middle that most would agree with.
That's your magic number you use when dealing with someone buying it all.
I envy you only in that being retired with not much else to do, I would LOVE to buy it all and sell it myself.
Best of luck and remember, there are a lot of sleaze balls out there that would love to take advantage of you, so if you have any other questions, do not hesitate to come here and ask.
bryan - Thank you so much! It will be quite the undertaking, but I think we will begin the inventory.
For all: As promised, here are pics of the NOS WhiteWater decal, taken with and without flash to show the etched effect. Also, there is a reproduction decal picture, and the brand new topper.

I would like them all too like Bryan_Kelly said.
Nice just to go through them and see what's there.

How do you intend to conduct your sale? Are you going to create a list with prices? Can people come to you to see the items? Thanks
I think a respectable person from the site that is near by could come and help you two out . Maybe offer a fee for the advice and help . It seems you have some very desirable pieces and you don’t want to get taken advantage of . I agree the easiest is a bulk sale but if you have the time .. I think you have some good money sitting there . I would love to buy it all just to go through and open it all . Good luck with the sale and congrats on the new home .
Awesome stash of parts, wow!!! Good amount of money there. I agree that bulk sale is the way to go if you are moving soon. Otherwise if you inventory and list it here- I’m sure you’d get buyers on a lot of it but then have quite a bit of packing and shipping to deal with unless you went with local pickup only.
Fantastic stash please don’t get ripped off, stick with Bryan_Kelly and you will be well looked after
Quoted from loneacer:That whitewater topper is easily 4 figures if you put it up for auction.
I wonder if that is the case? My guess would be $350-550. More than that seems like crazy talk.

Yeah, it's gonna go sky high. They simply don't exist. A few years back a nice one went for 800. Not NOS and in perfect shape. If it goes to auction it will be an interesting one to watch.

The last one I remember on eBay sold for over $500 and that was like 9 years ago. It'll be more than a new playfield for sure.

Easily over 1k, maybe even higher to the 2k range at this point? Many collectors out there where $ is in no short supply, who want this.
My only suggestion is to stay away from eBay. They error on the side of the buyer now and it is very easy to get scammed with no real recourse. The last 2 NOS pinball parts I sold I ended up losing the parts, shipping cost, and money that they sold for. One claimed damage in shipping then sent pictures from the past that I happen to recognize from the internet. The other claimed that they were misrepresented and they refunded the money. Both were a hassle and just a loss of time, money and the parts.
This is just my experience, your mileage might vary. My view might just be pessimistic because of my experiences.

Mine needs a topper. I've been planning to sell it and buy a new one with topper. If it saved me that trouble, and included the white plastic base and everything that it looks like are in the pictures, I'd give $1k today.

10k by Christmas!
Someone had to say it.
