Thinking of putting my Panthera up for Trade. Not sure what would be fair to ask for her. I am willing to take trade offers too. Make an offer if you have interest in this game.

#625 5 years ago

Link to Panthera now posted. Looking for Trade offers and may put out some Cash to go with it for something more to my taste.

Well for a machine that Retail places sell for between $2400 and $3000 I find an asking of 5k just a bit out of line.

I will be bringing some cash to shop with at the show. Even If I do not bring a game I will more then likely find one to buy!

#1790 4 years ago

Thinking about putting one or more of my pins up for trade offers. So hard to pick one that I would part with.

#1805 4 years ago

Thinking maybe Fishtales, Tee'd Off, Taxi or Twister would be available for Trade. Most of the games I like are on my wish list. Not above doing a 2 for one swap for the right game. All 4 games run well. I would not call them perfect condition but an good shape. I would be less inclined on Taxi then the other 3 but if it makes a deal for something I really want then cool.

Tee'd is staying for now at a location for league. Twister is on location again. So I guess I am going to hang on to what I have for now. I do have a home for 2 more tops.

I think a lot of us may be holding out to see what is availible at the show. Nothing like a bunch of games on a pin to make me want to own it. Most times a pin grows on me the more I play it.

#2018 4 years ago
Quoted from dannunz:

Ok guys we are at 122 games in free play. After reviewing the list of people bringing games I have to say I am very disappointed in the local collector community. Only 42 collectors are making up that 122 games. You guys have wanted a show in New England for how many years and now you have one. I know there are at least 300 collectors in the New England area. A show can not be great with out the support of local collectors. So this is it please rent a u-haul, jam one into your SUV or car, get together with a friend. We need more games and this is it time has run out! Thank you to those 42 people you know who you are. Thanks Gabe

It is also the very first year. Most events grow with time. I ran did a few events for American Coaster Enthusiasts at Canobie lake park. The first year I had to go nuts to hit 50 people. The next year it doubled to 100. Since then it has held its own with people coming from far and wide to go.

#2302 4 years ago

It is a very fun playing system 80. The art work on the playfield is awasome too. Seen some go cheap too. I think it is an over looked pinball because it is a system 80. If this game was a bally or williams people would be all over it.

Quoted from PersonX99:

(Not your average) POTC for sale. If you are looking for a pristine game that is sure to stand out in your collection, this is the one you want to see. Super clean, plays as good as it looks with many "enhancements" including:
-mirror blades
-LED Flipper buttons
-upgraded backbox and cabinet speakers
-custom RGB LED backbox panel with flashers (replaces fluorescent tube)
-laser cut pirate speaker inserts
-RGB speaker lights (with remote)
-under-cabinet flashers
-100% LED including flashers
-2-way led pop bumper lights (from pinball life)
-3D bone flipper caps
-canon mod on shooter lane
-stand-up target decals
-added GI spotlight to better illuminate lower playfield
-treasure plastic painted with gold-leaf (original looked too plastic)
-Installed custom rom with music/callouts from the POTC movies.

I have both seen and played this game! it is a great playing and very good looking pin. The mods look great on it. It is a very very clean game. Everything he sells is taken care of. Buy with confidence. I have got 2 pinball machines from him and both did not disappoint!

Other regional threads have gotten reminders before. It's just a couple of ads in this thread stood out for not being in the marketplace, so a reminder seemed appropriate.

Is there a place on the forums or pinside that describes how to tell a what tier a game is and what about when it is a trade situation? I have no issue chipping a little back to use the site for all the info I get from it. I just like to know all the rules an policies so that I can stay inside the rules.

Looking to see what is out there trade wise....
Have a Gotlieb Lights Camera Action in decent shape, not perfect some wear and fade but a solid playing game most of you saw at pintastic. Looking for trade offers on it.

I also have a Getaway I would consider trading for a different game. Like the game but just not into it as much anymore. This one I am looking mostly to stay DMD.

Either deal can by + or - cash....

have not seen to many of them.

I am willing to trade up or down for a game that intrests me + or - cash. even 2 for 1 on the right game. I do have a wish list on here. I tend to like the more modern games, family friendly ones, since I do some routing and have a little one at home too.

Going to list my TRON pro in a couple days on the market but wanted to offer it here first. Original run with 3D translite. Game is HUO but has seen a shit ton of plays (rightfully so). Overall condition is well above player but not quite collector. At least not to me, but it is extremely nice. Very slight flipper wear on right side. List of mods is as follows:
ELI Ramps
Hallmark Light Cycles
Color DMD
Arcade 3.1
Mirror Blades with decals
Flynn's sign
Lit scoop
Scoop cliffy
Instruction cards
Prob more, have to look. Game has less than 10 plays since Aardvark completely tore it down and shopped it. All new rubbers etc. Plays 100% as it should. Pricing will be as follows:
As is - $6300
With brand new chrome armor with lollipop rails, hinges, legs, bolts and lockdown (uninstalled) - $6700
The chrome armor will hide the flipper wear and really make the game shine (ha get it!). I think with the armor most would put it in the collector quality range. Very easy pick up. Located in Manchester, NH.
Not listed in trades unless you do spray foam insulation. Yes I'm serious.
Also have an issue free GB Premium going up for sale too. Absolutely MINT.

Good seller keeps machines in great condition. Buy with confidence. I got a STLE of him and it is mint. Runs great over a year later.

I would say as a relatively new guy only had pins for 5 years or so and have bought from most of the people in this thread being talked about, I have had no issue with any of them. I have games at home and on route. I do not feel that the so called flippers, who when I looked up market price and what they sold it to me for, actually gave me a rather fair price below market selling. most of them will work with you on price. I tend to price High when I sell Knowing someone is going to offer less. I think just about everyone does who buys and sells often. There are a lot of good people buying and selling pins, fixing them, modding them. I am thankful for the many people I have met in this hobby....and that I have really never felt like I got screwed by anyone here!

DE 1987-1990 games have the absolute shittiest cabinets. One in this kind of condition would probably fall apart during the move.

Quoted from Pinballmike217:

Thank you for making my point for me. I am an operator and I service all my pins on a far more than weekly basis. "Out of order" signs are unacceptable to me and if I am notified of a problem it is fixed next day. Glass comes off of all my pins at least once a week. If an operator is not willing to maintain pinball machines weekly then they should just stick to video games rather than make operators that actually care look bad. If you would like to see what a properly shopped machine looks like take a peek here:
This is the level my machines operate at on location. If you would like to play it go to to Roxys' A4Cade in Cambridge MA. It's waiting for you right now. Operators have no excuse not to keep their machines error free. As I said before, it's not that hard, you just have to care.

I do not get to them as much as you but they also are at far slower locations then yours. still takes regular upkeep but many times since I try to be pro active in making sure things run good they tend to run well with few issues. keeping them clean and going though a game when it gets time off location is critical. I tend to look a lot at how many plays it gets and design the scheduled work around it, and my travel.
