Quoted from Max_Badazz:
Had a party over the weekend with 30 people....16 games running with 10 being Sterns. I had 5 games with issues of the course of the night, guess which ones (hint..not the 10 Sterns)
So you mean the modern built pins broke down less than the old school 90s pins?
I'd say it's somewhat rate. 3000 is kind of a low run.
Mine is leaving at the Ohio show. Really fun pin with great magnets. I'll miss it.

Is there a new cpr pf installed?
Quoted from Barakawins1:
Pinbot: full mylar playfield in good shape, nice cabinet. Small wear at pop bumper area, small wear
at left outhole and typical wear under visor. Have decal for that. Otherwise, game fully functions, displays are bright. Off board battery pack installed. No acid damage. Light bar plastic cracked at the end.
Cyclone: Extremely nice original playfield. Zero wear. Bright displays. Needs some work but not major.
Switch issue. Should be a minor fix.
Will sell both machines for $2850 cash/carry. Located in North NJ
Nice deal here. Would love both these games back in the lineup.
Quoted from Richthofen:
I saw the CL ad 8 minutes after it was placed. Was texting a friend about it who bought a Cyclone and had it shipped up a few years ago, had got him into the hobby. Tried to convince him to get it as I am out of room and it looked like it was in better shape than his. I mean, I'd love the game but I'm pretty much out of room and money. I didn't say there's anything wrong with it, I just thought for sure the ad was a fake as they almost always are, someone luring collectors into responding to fake CL ads for jollies or whatever.
Maybe the posters above misread you.
A lot gets lost in translation in text.
Quoted from eabundy:
The part not cool is posting what you think someone paid for a machine, when they are selling it for more money than you think they paid. Not a leap to figure out what I didn't like about your post.
Who cares regardless?
If I saw a $500 cyclone, I'd nab it and resell it in a heartbeat. Most would.
I don't see a damn thing wrong with that either.
For that price, you'd think a cpr pf was installed. The cab looks nice enough, but the pf is a mess.
I also find it odd that there is zero mention of the touch ups on the listing. That's something that should be stated in the description.. Kinda important.
Quoted from Spyderturbo007:
I got mine for $2,350 and it has a new CPR playfield, new display, new plastics, and new decals. Everything was tumbled, polished and outfitted with new rubbers and super bands. It looks brand new except for a tiny imperfection at the corner of the back glass. The ramps are even in great shape.
That's more the pricing I'd think the pin was worth.
When you wanna sell, let me know! Also looking to trade my flintstones and/or time machine
Hmm not sure where you're getting "hostility" and "ball busting" from.
That pf is indeed a mess. I've seen close ups. It's worn out, has a ton of ball swirling, and has a lot of bad looking touch ups.
It's no where near "excellent" condition. That's just plain a lie on your end and his.
Maybe you can convince him to take actual close ups of the pf and touch ups on it and the cab.
"Excellent" condition?!!! You've gotta be kidding me.
Slow down killer.
I saw pics of the pf after hearing over and over how spectacular conditioned this thing was in. Nothing was mentioned about touch ups until I brought it up after hearing from another on pinside about them.
Only then after I inquired about possible touch ups did seller tell me about them and send pics of them, which are indeed bad. They aren't small or well done by any means. The pf is also very worn out. How can you say other wise? I've seen many pics. It's all subjective I guess.
Then he tried to compare his pricing with that of eBay. We all know about eBay pricing.
If you want the pm''s he sent, I'll send them to you.
This thing is no where near 3250. Even with "wiggle room". That price, given its condition is laughable. Very much so.
Still looking for a bad cats, diner, or mousin' I'm looking to buy or trade for.
Have a nice flintstones and wh20 I'd trade (along with cash on your end).
Still looking for Mousin' around, bad cats, dr. dude and others on my want list. I do have a nice wh20 and flintstones to trade! Or buy cash
Quoted from Pinball_Nate:
Anyone in Baltimore (I live in Balto County) who is comfortable doing some soldering on boards available? I have some TIP transistors that will probably need replacing as a socket contacted metal last night on my Taxi and fried a column (a few stuck ON very brightly).
Anyone? I will pay for your time/troubleshooting and can help troubleshoot - I think I've already found the problem but have not tested yet - I have a meter but don't really know how to use it!!!
Stretch - anyone?
Consider sending your board to Clive at Coinop Cauldron. For like $80 he will not only replace the parts you blew, but update any other parts on the board needing updating. It's an old board and could use the TLC.
He's one of the best, if not THE best in the business.. Just a suggestion.
Quoted from Pinball_Nate:
Blackbeard, thanks I might just do that - finding the time to fiddle with all of this is a royal pain in the ass!!!
I'd email him with your issues. He does phenomenal work and I believe it's his full time job.
I've had many many boards revamped by him and never an issue. For the price you're also circumventing possible issues down the road with old parts.
Have a sweet flintstones for sale (in marketplace)
Looking for dr. dude, mousin, and other system 11s.
Quoted from shacklersrevenge:
He should have paid me to help him move it on our last deal, from his last setup in the basement. Tight, back breaking, awful...fuck it sucked. I think I did that a few deals with Chris.
I hear ya, but I would never tell a prospective buyer I'm gonna charge him if I have to move it. Just seems ridiculous. It's not the buyers fault the sellers basement is a pain to move from.
Should just increase the price to the 2150 and state he can't help move it. Just leaves a sour taste in my mouth knowing I have to pay the seller to help move it.
Quoted from tp:
You didn't even give it a chance. Big mistake imo. Definatly grows on you, especially the better you get at it. Love the jackpot shots from the upper playfield.
Agree. Has one of the best jackpots in all of pinball, vacation jackpot.
But, as soon as I hit that, the thrill was gone and it went out the door!
I'd take it if we were closer or you were going to Allentown or ohio show.
No machine is above Man's Best.
Quoted from PersonX99:
It can be. It really depends on the buyer. Remember, although both are cars that get you from pt. A to B, a Kia is not a Mercedes.
It was stated that WCS is a 3-4k pin. That's the comment I disagreed with.
You could have a 5k Nip It plated with 24k gold. Doesn't mean the standard Nip It is worth 5k.
In general, WCS is NOT going for 3-4k. (unless you own one of course)
Quoted from shlockdoc:
really personal attacks from the armpit of NY state. Now you are the price guide of games. why don't you look at the current listings.
Relax (edited). No one is attacking you, just your inflated thoughts on WCS pricing. Am I not allowed to have an opinion on pricing? You were down voted numerous times, so clearly I'm not the only one who thinks you're way off in price.
