The upper playfield was torn down about 100 games ago..cleaned and waxed
Plays 100% with no errors
Playfield looks exceptional
Cabinet is also very nice..no major dings etc…probably a nick here or there.
DMD is bright and crisp with no missing lines…no outgassing
RGP plays as it should
LEDs throughout

Nice Early production (4.14.93) Twilight Zone $5450. Third magnet, no ‘Flip Here’ on the mini PF, green lock insert, post holes between pops , white clock face, ‘Collect Next Spiral Value W/lit’ plastic. After reading a bunch of information on sample TZs I was even more confused as to what was considered a sample. Feel free to discuss it here…bumps are good=)

The game plays 100% with no switch errors or credit dots. Clock and Gumball machine work as they should and the clock keeps ‘time’ when in attract mode. Powerball detection also works fine. The cabinet is in nice shape with was appears to be no fade. Full LEDs including controlled and GI lightning. DMD is nice in bright, flippers nice and strong

GI and J101 repinned. BRs1-5 and corresponding caps where replaced and jumpers ran, remote battery holder.

I had a rebuilt (shopped) unfaded sample with 3rd magnet with no cab damage and no PF wear at all...LEDs..thing was beautiful

I sat on it for 3 months at 5400 before I got 4900 for it...shipping was available also

I'd like to know where these 6k buyers were a couple month ago

I’ll be listing a Medusa tomorrow. Just finished a full playfield tear down. BG (non-nip) is excellent with no flaking. PF is very nice with a playfield protectors installed. All metals tumbled or polished by hand. All coils removed..ultrasonic cleaned ..re-sleeved..etc . Displays are nice and bright. Correct upper standups (behind the drops). Boards pulled and reflowed. There is a credit button installed in an old lock hasp hole that was drilled.

Mini project

Game was torn down..everything tumbled and reassembled. Playfield was buffed to a high shine.

Game will not reset properly. If I manually reset the game it plays fine. The ball count stepper does not reset but works during a game after manually being reset. Also one pop bumper coil is bad due to a stuck switch. I think I have one to include.

I ended up buying another one while I was shopping this one so I didn't mess with it any further. I still need to install the plastics and bulbs

Asking $750. Located in the Buffalo NY area. Pics and market place add coming Monday night. I may mess with it to see if I can get it to reset properly. I think the problem is in one of the scoring reels 0 position switches
