Quoted from MaxAsh:

As a former virtual pin owner, I thought it might be good to chime in real quick. I loved the virtual pin, and played a lot of great games (including NF) over time on it (shout-out to the people that make those tables).
That being said, I would highly recommend playing the real game you're interested in before jumping and buying it based on a virtual pin experience. No matter how good the games are on VPX and other virtual pin formats, the real thing is different. Some vastly so, some less so. I would find a No Fear (or whatever game you like) and play it some before throwing cash down on it. Good luck with your first pin purchase! And second, and third... The addiction is real.

Been using vpx/popper for a couple of years now; grateful for the developers. Tables have great physics lighting some with 4K support & free comes very close to the real experience.

I’ve found that if you like a table in vpx you’re going to love the physical one!

Hi Everyone,
Selling my MS-66 Escalera w/ big wheel attachment. Works fine but due to my bulkhead stair configuration I've struggled to use it for pins without a second person (which defeats the purpose). $1,800 - and I will donate to Pinside upon sale. Also willing to trade for pins.
I do like some of the Sega/Data east stuff and older Williams titles but prefer new(er) machines and have cash to round out a deal.
To be consistent with pinflation I considered adding a Color DMD and a few LEDs to it and listing for $5k just to see what happens but... you know...
Eastern Connecticut region.

Interested (especially if you throw in those LEDs)- will pm

Quoted from SynthHead:

Guys how rare is a No Fear table? I was playing it last night on VPX and fell in love with it. I just love how the shots are on it. Man I was up till 3am last night and didn’t even realize it was that late. I was having such a blast. I’m assuming it’s way up there for price though since its a Williams table.

To me...this game is a real balls out blast to play ! Super fast, lots of flow ( especially with no pop bumpers) love having it in my collection! Despite what others are saying, be prepared to spend 3500 to 5k .

#20505 2 years ago

No fear is one of the better of the “used to be $1100” games.

I traded a Jackbot recently for one and couldn’t be happier, it’s just about the steve ritchiest game ever.

So yeah you better like steve Ritchie games.

#20506 2 years ago

If anyone paid close to $5K for No Fear without ‘HEP’ initialed somewhere on the playfield, you got ripped off.

I wasn't trying to impress you, just saying that I can first hand say that his work is amazing, and not overrated IMHO.

Price my brother price. Don’t get me wrong if you have the scratch to afford hep cool cool!!! But personally I’d rather save that money. The old saying close enough for rock n roll.

Thanks I actually found a place in Providence that has one so I gonna venture up there this week. They actually got quite a few of the older titles to try out too so I’m pumped. I figured VPX is not gonna be exactly like a real pin but it’s a good reference and starting point. There’s a few that I loaded up that I was like hell no right away.

I just wanted to thank everyone for all the input and opinions. You guys are awesome and I didn’t realize so many people from RI on here. I was LOLing about the NJ vs RI comment. I’m also gonna go down to the Mogehan Sun casino as they got a bunch of the brand new Sterns from the last 5-10 years to check out and play.

That’s so funny, I got a CC Caprice shuffle alley for free near their in jersey and it’s the same “family line” of shuffle bowlers CC was putting out at the time.

If anyone knows someone getting rid of or selling one of those 22 foot shuffle boards that you see in bars let me know. A friend wants one.

#20546 2 years ago

Anyone interested in a Silverball Mania project? Game boots, but it needs an overlay on the playfield. Cabinet is solid. I triple thicked the backglass to repair the flaking and it came out pretty good. Would be a nice player when it's all finished. 950.

Still have a Jungle Princess project, make me an offer. I'll be making listings tonight.

Grab it now or it's firewood! This is going to get broken apart in a few days if nobody claims it.

Retail glass carts are in the $500-$1600 range. Bargain tool of the day!

A bar owner I know had one set up, and now it's been in storage for a few years.
I'm thinking he still has it. I can check. Upstate between Syracuse and Rochester..
