Very clean/low use. Really would like to trade towards an Aerosmith LE or Zep Prem/LE, but sale is fine as well.

Quoted from mpdpvdpin:That FIRE! and Pinbot are back up for sale on FB mrkt in NY from the same sellers. I’ve caught them in numerous lies, and they refuse to send pictures of the boards (or lack there-of). Don’t even bother with these clowns, or better yet everyone go send them a message saying you’ll offer $5k for both if they just take the ad down haha.
I brought this up in a Facebook group earlier and almost did on here as well. Comical stuff
I've got a nice fully working Jukebox for Sale. 1954 Seeburg HF100R. Amp and speakers still sound great. Plays both sides of 50 x 45s.. Would be a great restore candidate or jus a really nice gameroom functional piece. $1500 PM for pics and video.
I have an Arachnid Shuffle Bowler, has latest software works great. Looking to get 1k for it. (not a pinball but just about same length.) Also has new SSD hard drive, and 32" LCD screen.

What lies? I don't see anything in that ad that screams "scam"... maybe just not a pinball person and has no idea how to do what you're asking of them. The Pinbot is clearly priced as a project. The Fire is probably priced too high for what it is.
There are no lies in the ad. Go send him a message and ask some questions, you’ll see what I mean. Also that Pinbot is not priced as a project. It’s missing boards and the backglass is taped in place. I sold a beautiful fully working Pinbot 6 months ago for $1900 he want $1500 for a incomplete crap cannon.
Also, when I asked for photos he just kept saying “I can’t do that” but his wife had these games listed a month ago with completely different pictures and she also refused to tell me if they turned on or not. She told me they had an offer for $3k and then removed the ad. Now it’s back up listed under her husband’s profile.

You sold your Pinbot too cheap. $1500 is a reasonable starting point to price a project. I wouldn't *pay* that much for it, but everybody is trying to find a deal. He may be looking to actually get $1000-$1200 for it.
If you're asking if they turn on or not, but already know they are missing boards, why even ask the question? They aren't being advertised as working games, so show up with cash and negotiate accordingly.
Lastly, why would you downvote a post asking a legitimate question? It's not like I was being combative.

I agree, I have a spot in my game room that doesn't have the height clearance and this seems to be a perfect alternative and get rid of the foosball table!

Not really. $1500 as starting price? That mentality is what's wrong with this hobby anymore. It's not like it's a BOP. It's a damn Pinbot. Projects should be cheap. Especially with how stupid prices have gotten lately.
Mpdpvdpin sold his at a decent price, and fully working. It wasn't too cheap.

A guy on the board was just selling TWO project Pinbots for $1600 a year or two ago.
$1500 with boards missing? No thanks.

I think that was me!

With that said, they ended up going for a working big guns and about $300. The guy I sold them too couldn't get them working either and resold them to someone who couldn't get them to work either... Last I heard they were in Indiana and... still not working.

Never give up, never surrender.
If a monkey like me can get a Game Plan Lizard back to life anything is possible.

Sadly you are right about the prices in the hobby. Pinside used to be the one place where you would likely find games at realistic prices. Now it seems as if ebay pricing has crept right in and taken over. Even CL and Facebook market place were somewhat protected from high prices but not anymore.
Does anyone really know what normal prices are anymore?
Quoted from sagejr:Does anyone really know what normal prices are anymore?
Whatever someone is willing to pay. Supply and Demand. I feel like this varies almost from week to week.

I replaced my bowling alley with one of these. I love it and people play it nonstop at pinball events and parties.
How would you know if I sold it too cheap pal? I paid $100 for it sooo $1900 was pretty f’n good for a quick “get it out of my house” price. I gave someone good fair deal on a nice game. And I downvoted your post because you haven’t spoken with these people so you have no frame of reference to even be part of this discussion. I was simply warning others in the hobby not to bother, it’s like pulling teeth with these sellers. Not worth the time and energy.

I share your pain. I recently got a Playmatic Last Lap working. It passed through many hands as an unworking project before I got it. And I'm glad I did... it's a really fun game and there are very, very few out there.
Quoted from mpdpvdpin:How would you know if I sold it too cheap pal? I paid $100 for it sooo $1900 was pretty f’n good for a quick “get it out of my house” price.
I know you sold it too cheap because you sold it for well below market value. You left money on the table. I won't do that, except for close friends, because I assume if I give someone a deal, they are just going to turn around and flip it for a profit. Even the notoriously low estimated price guide here values Pinbot at $2100.
I do pretty well in this hobby, Occasionally I like to give back by offering games at GOOD prices to newcomers which is exactly what I did for in Pinbots case. Could I have made an extra $500 on that game? Yes. Did I need to? Definitely not. I’ll be sure not to give you any flexibility on pricing if I ever have anything you want though! Haha When is the last time you heard of someone making an $1800 profit on a Pinbot AND made the buyers day?

Would you sell me your Maiden or LOTR for sub $4k?
Haha LOTR is sold unfortunately. Maiden I’ll hear trades plus cash.

People can shove the “market value” stuff up their ass.
When I sell games, I sell them for what I am into them for, or how much I bought them for. That’s what keeps the hobby going and fruitful. And keeps other people really happy.
When you start seeing games like Pinbot and Road Kings going for 2000+, things have gotten stupid. I sold a decent condition Road Kings to a guy up at Pintastic just two years ago for 750. I paid 650 for it, repaired and shopped the damn thing. And delivered it to him.
And he gave me 850 by accident, so I tracked him down inside the show and handed him 100 bucks back.
It’s all about profit to too many fucking people anymore. If people on here don’t realize the decrease in both traffic and amount of hobbyists, they are as blind as a bat.
Sorry for the slight D rail. Does anybody have any overpriced games for sale?

Can confirm Colson's pricing. Sold me a Torpedo Alley and Robocop combo for $3800 last weekend. Colson is eligible for special pricing on all my pins.

MY GOD somebody else that gets it!!! Can we be friends, lol!!!
I still have Gottlieb Cowpoke, Allied Leisure Super Picker, and a 1950s United shuffle alley up for sale. All nice projects. Prices are far, far, far below $30k, so there are bargains to be had

This is true. I bought a game for my grandkids from Colson for way below value, then sold it back to him for the same price when they were done with it. I'm pretty sure he's banging my wife, but otherwise, Colsond3 is a good dude.

Haaaa. I have a Space Invaders that was Colson's , it's been on tour of New England and after fixing a bunch of lights 'n stuff he is getting it back one day for exactly what I paid for it.
They love sandwiches and other people’s wives I guess. Ain’t none of my business haha

Colson. I'm with ya man. I'm in it for the hobby & enjoyment. I never make money once I sell. I would sell to a newcomer to the hobby on the cheap just to get them interested & involved.
Unfortunately the market dictates pricing. Greed is out there & most just accept paying higher & higher prices. Until that stops, prices will continue to spiral out of control.
$1500 for a project pinbot missing boards is nuts. Maybe a functional pinbot in need of a shop job is worth that, but not a full blown project.
That's more like a $950 pin to the casual buyer, maybe a little bit more to the guy that has to have a pinbot.
I've had quite a few system 11 projects.
Most ate up at least $300 when full shopped and functional, even had an earthshaker burn $1000 in parts.
God forbid there is battery damage, then you are in serious trouble financially.
Led's, plastics, ramps, flipper rebuilds, displays all cost money.
And while labor isn't exactly priced like your real job, IMO, it still doesn't need to be free.

Well she did say that she wanted to play something with a light saber, and I knew something was up when she set your Star Wars to 2 balls. So I went with it.
We can try a 3-player game set on 4 balls. Might be fun.

I also appreciate your style Colson. I’ve sold a nice Future Spa for $350, an ACDC Premium for $5,600 (in a $6k plus market). Traded my beautiful LoTR for mint TFLE when I fully understood LOTR would rise in value when TF would not. Beautiful DH, JM and others for what I paid.
I did this because I wanted to play new pinball and worked with what was in front of me at the time. Life is too short to spend every waking moment - in your hobby! - trying to rub two nickels together as hard as you can.
Of course, the payback is that we all get to party with Beelz’s wife when he’s not around, so there’s that.

Pain? You misunderstand sir, I volunteered to fix it for nothing more than the challenge.
Colson was out of pocket for nothing more than supplies needed to fix his ailing pin.
