Eric, your TZ looks brand new. Nice work as usual!
Quoted from Spyderturbo007:
Do you have a link to the sales thread or a price?
Read through the discussion as it will explain the mystery behind the game (its not a proto or sample but maybe an early production with differences).
Price wise with what has been discussed is looking to be around $4k. I'll see him tonight and chat about what was said and price, so I can get an actual number to post.
Fathom - Restored and works 100%. All original playfield, cabinet, backglass, and plastic, no repro parts. Cointaker LEDs in GI, incandescent bulbs in controlled lamps. Super clean. Cabinet has some touch up and looks great. Cleaned and shined up like a mirror inside and out. $5,400/OBO Zipcode 01430
Well, you got my attention.
Not sure i'm a $2600 pinball guy yet, but as frustration sets in finding a fair priced pinbot or space shuttle i'm starting to consider upping how much i'm willing to spend and BF is high on my list if I was to grow some balls.
BestShot31 has an Indy 500 for sale ad in the market. Playfield is beautiful (certainly above average) and it's priced right. He's in NJ as well so certainly worth taking the trip to check it out.
Just search by title under market. Good Luck with your search.
L@@K - So I have a Stargate pin I started stripping the playfield topside to restore. Repainted all the rails. Brand new forward motor for the ship. All premium LEDs. All parts are there and the game is fully working with extras and new decals yada yada... I have no time to put it back together, ever.
I have at least $1600-$1800 into it. $1400 in initial costs + parts, I will never get it back.
Willing to trade for a decent System 11 working of course, you put back the SG together. Looking for the right trade partner here.
or who is willing to put it back together for me? how much... HEH. Trade? $ is an issue atm.
STTNG full restoration: Early production/sample game
Game will be done in the next day or two.
Full tear down and high quality restoration. Game was in pretty good shape to start. Clear coated playfield, new plastics, new ramps, interior painted, bottom of cabinet, interior of light panel and bottom of playfield cleared for protection, Custom painted ships and guns. Plywood edges on head all filled and painted (better than original). Original cabinet artwork (no fade). New head decals with margins as in the original. Metal parts polished. Every mechanism dismantled cleaned repaired if needed, all new sleeves, flippers rebuilt. New bulbs, LEDs in guns and Borg ship.
Full thread of what was done on Pinside. Much more than what is listed here.
I have an I500 up for sale, located in Rochester, NY. Game plays 100% and needs nothing. Overall nice game, just finished a topside teardown, here are the highlights.
- NOS right ramp assembly
- NOS popper assembly for the turbo VUK - These are often worn causing issues loading the turbo.
- Almost no fade, cab is still very bright, not washed out at all.
- Translite in great shape.
- Overall Nice playfield, slight wear at the turbo hole completely hidden by Cliffy.
- Cliffy installed at turbo hole
- Flippers completely rebuilt
- New rubbers
- All broken plastics replaced
- Pinbits plastics protectors
- New Stainless steel ramp flaps
$3200, which is less than I have in the game.
I'll get some photos up in the next few days.
I have a Space Invaders, Blackout and Meteor for sale. Asking 1400ea. I might be willing to drop the price a bit on any or all of them so hit me up if you are interested. I have pictures and more details on them. These were 3 of my first 5 games and I think I overpayed for them. More than what I'm asking. I may have to just chalk it up as a learning experience. Patience isn't one of my strong suits
