Sometimes it's just timing, or location. Other times it's price. If the machine is cheap enough people will buy it with hopes that they can play it for awhile and sell it for what they paid for it when the time comes. My machines usually don't sit too long, so I guess a trust / value equation is in play as well.

yeah and Bruce's stuff is nice and he's a player so the games actually play well rather than just looking good.

For that price you are going to probably need to invest a little time and effort to restore them. They may not even be in players condition at that price.

Yep i came across many during my search in the 5500-6k range but most had fade and decal in front of crate. Not a huge deal but i wanted a super nice one... fun pin enjoy

I also will be listing a players condition Maverick with all LED's, clean boards and a good display shortly $1500 firm. Cabinet is rough, but playfield is pretty nice & it plays well. Parts alone are worth it, especially the large display. I don't want to part it out if I can avoid it.
I may list a Twilight Zone soon also. Still debating if I want to shop it & fix the few things it needs or sell it as-is.

Just listed it in the Marketplace. Asking $6800. It has about $200 in mods. Trade wise I prefer classic Bally Williams games in nice shape.
Cocktail Multicade arcade game with 60 in 1 card installed. 2 player with 13.5 inch screen in very good working condition with no discoloration or serious burn in. This is a nice height adjustable cocktail cabinet to compliment any collection of pins or otherwise. LED underlighting strips installed and no bad wiring hacks inside either. Has working coin mech too but no key for the coin box.
$900 firm.
