Pricing is hit or miss with early SS - depends on the seller.

I try to price my machines at a fair price.

Sold a Phoenix that was in good shape last month for $500 (boards were updated with new capacitors, etc.), playfield, backglass, and cabinet were nice.

Will have a Williams Contact for sale soon - probably price it at $600 - boards are system 6, new capacitors, some tip 102s, new resistors, NVRAM installed. Playfield is in great shape but will need cleanup and new rubbers. Only downside of the machine is that someone spray painted the cabinet black.

    Quoted from Cheddar:

Anyone have a Gottlieb Count-Down they'd like to sell?

Seems like every pinhead I know was after that listing for $350. I missed out on the one for sale in Oakley earlier this year.

Does anyone have a working, early Bally 6 digit display that they are willing to sell? Need one for my Bally BOPP.

    Thanks

Anyone have any project wedgeheads or other Em's they are looking to let go?

There is a guy in San Rafael that has 80 EM machines of all different types. Don't know how many in the collection he plans on letting go.

    A few examples...

    Quoted from dsuperbee:

Has he advertised at all anywhere?

    sorry dsuperbee

I have not been on pinside due to the Christmas holiday (kids out of school, etc.)

The guy advertised on Facebook to sell a Golden Arrow (incorrect cabinet), more of a parts machine. I struck up a conversation with him and he sent some photos of his space chock-full of stuff. Name is Dan Fontes out of San Rafael.

    Hope this helps.

Regarding these postings from SF craigslist

    sfbay.craigslist.org link

    sfbay.craigslist.org link

I sold them to the gentleman for $700 as a pair - he informed me that plans were to restore both machines.

    - HI-Deal plays 100% but the playfield is roached in large sections, backglass is beautiful.

    - Big Brave has a nice playfield, backglass is nice (red is faded somewhat) but there is some wire and relay gremlins that need to be sorted out (I thoroughly cleaned the score reels / credit reels / score motor).

Just FYI to the broader pinball community

Am looking for early system 80 side rails to fit my Gottlieb Spider-Man (3"W x 48.25" L - 49.25" extended).

Checked PBR and Marco but nothing comes up. Checked the interweb and also, nothing.

Has anyone used a metal fabricator in the east bay to make these?

    Thanks.

    Quoted from drypaint:

Payment is to be made via cashiers check.

    Is this a generational thing?

I only ask since there are several other ways to move cash between counterparties (e.g. Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, Square, Google Pay, Facebook Messenger, etc.)

    Cleaning out the garage.

    3 Gottlieb coin doors, 1 Spider-Man BG.

    Free to good home.

If not picked up by Monday it goes in trash.

    I’m in concord.

    Throwing a feeler out there.

I have a decent shape Mata Hari that I planned to fully restore (have new playfield glass, CPR playfield, plastics, and topper).

Original backglass (with SS slogan) is in great shape.

Might be selling since another opportunity has risen.

Machine is in my garage for easy pick up and located in Concord.

    Thanks,

    WP

    Quoted from drypaint:

I have a stripped, cleaned and primed power play you can come measure up if it helps. Its not for sale as I'm in the process of Restoration, but its just sitting around until I get to it.

I put Pinitech LED displays in my power play. In my opinion, looks awesome. Just a thought.
