What's the correct etiquette if you're at a pinball show and you step up to a game that already has a multiplayer game started? Happens all the time. For example, previous player(s) abandoned a two-player game, or maybe an unsupervised little kid hit the Start button nine times, that sort of thing. You might just walk up and finish the game, because there are only one or two balls left, but you'll probably be perceived as a Pinball Hog by the next person who looks over your shoulder. On some games you can just hold the Start button and it will reset to one player... but that doesn't always work. Then what? Do you just turn the game off, wait a second, and turn it back on? I'm always a little hesitant to toggle power on a machine I don't own. Next thing you know, and the machine doesn't come back up as expected. Then you're worse than a Pinball Hog. Wait, I might be overthinking this...

    Quoted from blownfuse:

Hi guys, I'm still here. I just haven't felt much like posting much since I blew out my back. I just wanted to drop in and say hi to everyone before I go back to sleep from all the drugs my doctors have me on.
    Steve

Get well soon! You probably don't remember me, but I met you when I was set up next to you at the PAGG flea market a few years ago. That was a lot of fun and I enjoyed your stories about finding lots of games "back in the day". I hope you didn't throw out your back moving a pinball machine! That's kinda my worst nightmare!

What's the best source of NEW playfield glass in the South Bay? I got spoiled when BAA was located in Campbell and I could get playfield glass for 25 bucks (no shipping needed).

Probably a good idea to avoid putting anything on top of the backbox that will fall off in an earthquake. Also a good idea to take photos of your pins for insurance purposes (although I don't know how many people have earthquake insurance). Obviously, make sure your hot water heater is strapped securely. In the earthquake of '89, my unstrapped hot water heater danced like a New York City Rockette. It's a miracle the gas line didn't rupture. It's strapped now. After a major quake, turn your gas off if you smell gas. The risk of fire after a quake is a threat to your pins and everything else you own.

World Poker Tour for sale. As the car dealerships used to say, drive a little and save a lot in friendly Gilroy

    Quoted from hawkmoon:

Anybody going to Vegas July 1st for V.I.P.opening of the PHOF?? Sound off, yes I'll B there!!

I visited the new PHOF last month (apparently they are already open to the public). Two main memories from that visit: 1) Nice, roomy building with a vast assortment of pins and 2) Finally got a chance to play Avengers Infinity Quest (surprisingly fun game).

Anyone know where I can get a Williams System 9 style backbox (new or used)? Possibly from a project game? I *think* a System 11 backbox would work as well. I acquired a Space Shuttle and, unfortunately, it was transported to me in the back of a pickup with the head up. The Backbox tore off of its bottom panel (which was bolted down firmly). When it got here, the Backbox was laying on top of the game, with the bottom torn off, a real mess.

    Quoted from Vino:

Yikes! Hope this wasn’t the same space shuttle raffled off at GSPF.
Hope you find a new bb soon!

Thanks. It's not the GSPF raffled one. This one came from Menlo Park.

A big thank you to ThatOneDude for hooking me up with a Space Shuttle backbox!

Looking for a working 7-Digit Display for Williams System 9 (or 6A or 7). Part number is 5762-09463. Anybody have one to sell? I'm restoring a Space Shuttle and one of my displays is totally dead.
