The Flipper Room is a wonderful place to drop a few quarters. I always stop by after meetings at the The California Teachers’ Association (bargaining for our pay!). The machines are in top working order and there is something new every time I drop by.

They also have a change machine, snacks and sodas (on an honor system- please pay for your snacks!), and some pinball books for sale. The times I have been there have been fairly quiet (weekdays before 5), but everyone is always friendly and the art on the walls is amazing!

Phoenix games, nearby, is also a fun time. There are tons of classic video games for sale from the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. In the back of the shop is an arcade with a nice variety of pins and some arcade games.

I wish I lived closer because both of these businesses are right up my alley (live in the ghetto- Stockton). I know that both of the gentleman who own these businesses have put a lot of work into making them successful.

Please support pinball in the wild!!

Looking forward to GSPF as well! Dragging some friends along to catch the pinball addiction. Hoping to see some decent players’ machines for sale!

McDoom Do you know of any pinball leagues in the Brentwood area? I know they are probably out of commission at the moment, but I thought you might know. I’m out here in Discovery Bay. I’m a teacher at Liberty High School. Glad to see there are other pinball fans in the area!

I did play in the league in Lodi for a season. There are great guys out there! I really enjoyed it, but my personal obligations made it difficult for me to make it on league night. It was a fun time!!!

I went to the Pinball Hall of Fame while down in Las Vegas for a cheerleading competition for my daughter. It brings me great joy to see how successful it seems to be. The parking lot was at least half full both days I went and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Besides the many pinball machines, it was fun to play some of the old “unique” games that have joined the collection. I highly recommend visiting- seriously only about 5 minutes from the heart of the strip!
