dsuperbee... yes, with a repo one (dome, curved backing & decal). It wasn't perfect, but better than nothing.

Well I'm glad you found something! Better than nothing is true, but a working one would be better. Hope to see ya at PAGG!

    #4502 6 years ago

dsuperbee... Yes! I'll be at PAGG Friday-Sunday. I'm bringing 4 pinball's and a handful of raffle items to the event.

    Hi guys,
Do you know a good local shop in San Jose to powder coat legs, trim and hinges ?
    thanks,
    Leo.

I'd be curious to get recommendations on this as well.

    #4505 6 years ago

I'd like to offer a couple of my games for sale or trade. I have a huo Twd premium and a huo met pro. Both are exceptional with custom armor and nice mods. Very low play. I'd be interested in a trade for any of the following : hobbit se, mmr, cv, totan, tom.

Talk with local hotrodder/car guys. They will know good shops, and are way more anal about how they come out than we are.

I used West Coast Powder Coat for my bicycle and they were great. S. SF though.

Stern is going to be doing some warranty work on my GB and have asked me to contact "Ricci" from California Amusements. Anyone have experience or work with this person or company before? just curious to know if they are reputable, etc.

    Thnx!

    #4511 6 years ago

is that's the same California Amusements that has location machines that play terribly? Don't know if it is. So many good techs in the area like Chris Kuntz (Pinball Pirate), TJ Beyer and many others

Wanted: side mirrors for Stern and Williams.
I also need a Williams FT coin door.

    Thanks

Just testing out the waters as I need to thin out my collection- Thinking of selling my NIB Hobbit - Smaug LE - anyone have a sense of the market out here?

    #4514 6 years ago

By any chance does anyone who went to PinAGoGo know the person who was there Saturday afternoon selling some older play fields? I think that one was a beat up Black Knight, and they had a new WOZ behind their table. Are they local to NorCal?

I have dealt with him a couple of years ago, but only to purchase games from him. He runs a fairly big shop in the east bay. Nice guy. When I was in there they were re-decalling a Moster Bash because some idiot wrote all over it with a sharpie.

Is there anyone in the bay area who regularly sells or parts out old machines? Preferably solid state machines.

    #4527 6 years ago

I took some visiting family to the Santa Cruz boardwalk this weekend, and I was sorely disappointed with the games. POTC wasn't set up correctly, and one of the ramps was broken and just floating above the playfield. Another(LOTR) had a non-functioning right flipper. I didn't waste any money on the others. Too bad, because I was excited to have some of the kids try out pinball for the first time.

Does anyone know of a bay area resource for playfield clearcoating? I've got a PF that I'd like to have sanded down to wood, decal applied, then cleared.

    Any help is much appreciated.

What's the game and what level of craftsmanship are you looking for?

    #4538 6 years ago

AS Pro installed at Woodstock's pizza this morning.

    #4539 6 years ago
    Quoted from lb1:

It's GOT Premium. I'm looking to apply new artwork: https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/game-of-thrones-superfan-edition-personal-project#post-3813613

As for craftsmanship, ideally I'd like to find someone who knows how to clear an overlay without causing too many bubbles/ghosting/other issues. I thought about using cans of Spraymax 2k, but given how much time the art has taken I want to have it done by someone who knows what they're doing.

Free TSPP homer head + couch in San Jose. Homer head is used but undamaged (black rubber ring left stain on neck). Couch has a crack in the non-visible side. Free to someone local who could use them, but not going to ship.

A local buddy of mine is looking to sell 2 pins. He's not on Pinside. If anyone is interested shoot me a PM and I'll provide his contact info. He's located in Martinez. You may see these pop up on Craigslist soon with slightly higher prices.
    1. Star Wars Trilogy. Fully working. Players condition with some upgrades. $2500
    2. WWF Royal Rumble. Formerly owned by me. Was in spectacular, near mint condition when I sold it to him last year. Haven't seen it since, but should be the same. Nice LED conversion. Cliffys. Don't know if he added anything else. $2250
