Original backglass (with SS slogan) is in great shape.

Might be selling since another opportunity has risen.

Getting ready to move and looking to thin the herd. On the block so far is my restored Comet. $3200. Restoration thread here:

I was going to wait until I got the center ramp replaced so it was as minty as possible, but the timing is what it is. Freeplay40 appears to be on the home stretch making those, so it won’t be long if the new owner wants to freshen up the last major piece that isn’t new or redone.

I’ve also got a Captain Fantastic that was going to be my next project but since I’m not going to have time for pinball projects for the next few years, here it is: fully working and dialed in game with a playfield protector. Plays great as is. Comes with a new CPR playfield & plastic set. Have both the regular and “no stars” backglass, both mint. $2700 with stars $2900 no stars.

Also considering selling a fully restored Seawitch. Less than a hundred plays since finishing the restoration. New playfield, stainless ball guides, oak rails (painted black), backglass, plastics, mpu, solenoid driver board, and rectifier board. Cabinet restenciled and clearcoated with 2pac. Illuminated flipper buttons. Blue led displays. $6500

I’ll be working on ads soon. Will donate to Pinside if games sell before ads are up.

I looking for some road advice from anyone who has made the drive from the bay area to Bend OR. How severe are the passes? Should I expect to need chains? I've made the drive to Tahoe several times but I'm unclear as to how bad the route from Weed to Bend can get in March. I appreciate any thought. Thx

I would definitely carry chains.

I second the chains. Made this trip last year at the same time and had to stop and get some. It was warm and nice when I left the bay... A f'n blizzard when I got to the mountains.

Roads are currently clear. Always a good ideal to carry chains regardless of forecast, buy and return if unused. Looking for a Mata Hari for a friend. Anyone close by selling one, working or not?

Has anyone in the bay area tried making a vacuum form ramp repro? The videos make it look pretty easy if you have the oven and vacuum table. I have a RCT right ramp that is ok right now, but has some damage. I'd like to find a new one before it fails completely, but no such luck finding it for sale anywhere! I can figure out how to make a positive mold of it, but need to find someone with a vacuum form setup to try and make a new one.

Are any of the "big three" considering making it?

Not that I can find any hint of. RCT doesn't seem to get the attention as other Lawlor/Youssi machines. I looked across the pond(s) too with no luck. Machine is 100% playable, but I know what is under the protectors, just waiting to explode!! LOL
