On that note, I’m gaining some decent interest in the WD. If you’re on the fence, this is your chance to snag it. (P.S. I know people are getting tired of seeing this add so do me a favor and give me a decent trade, thanks

Wouldn't mind so much if you stopped calling it new and talking about it like it is one of your children.

This isn't the only game in your collection it is one of several and apparently, for your own reasons, the one you have decided to get rid of.

In any event I wish you much success with swapping out your used TWD with a game that I hope you will enjoy as much as you seem to have enjoyed this one. Given your clear undying love for this machine I think it is unlikely. Unless of course you have been engaging in hyperbole with the clear goal of maximizing the value received from replacing this item in your collection, in which case I wish you success as well, just wish you would dial it back a touch.

Another approach is to lower your asking price. That works best.

    My error,
    Please accept my apology.
It has been quite a while since I listed a machine and didn't realize that Pinside forces this misleading description.

MODS - anything we can do to correct this?

Once a machine is unboxed it is a used game. Why not just say "Excellent, Pristine, Imamaculate, Unspoiled, etc... - First Owner" ?

I am sure you have gone round and round over this with other people and in other meetings but new should not be used to describe anything other than something that is new. It either is or it isn't there is no like to it.

I am like of legal drinking age (not), I am like a PHD (not), this lottery ticket is like a winning ticket(not), this pinball machine is like new (not)

New = Unopened, never played, It doesn't mean unboxed, setup and tested/played.

If you are having doubts... Keep this pin. I could never get rid of TWD... Out of 20+ pins in my collections TWD is one of my favorites... I personally would regret getting rid of it.

If you are looking for a very clean TWD McDoom takes great care of his machines... I purchased one from him and it was mint...

    #6657 3 years ago

I guess I need to play WD and give it a fair shake . Zero interest in owning one but judging from the prevailing opinion on here it must bee fun to flip .

Yeah, it’s less than a year old. (Felt like one of the last NIB WD out there)

Only reason I thought about trading it is because I’m the only one who plays it, family won’t touch it lol.

I’ve Always been a huge walking dead fan. I really like the comics and recommend them to any comic reader. Now I’m getting second thoughts

I feel like it’s ok to share some of my Walking Dead stuff so here you go.

McDoom Do you know of any pinball leagues in the Brentwood area? I know they are probably out of commission at the moment, but I thought you might know. I’m out here in Discovery Bay. I’m a teacher at Liberty High School. Glad to see there are other pinball fans in the area!

There are a couple of leagues that run out of the Concord area. They play at Phoenix games and The Flipper Room. Nothing is going right now, AFAIK.

I'm never missing another league night again once everything opens. MFP baby!!!!

The CCPL Lodi League plays in Lodi (of course) and Elk Grove, maybe worth looking into when we get back to it.

While at the Flipper Room in Concord, I got invited to play a couple times at league night but was unable to make it due to work. When things open up I plan to join in on the fun! A lot of good guys and gals there.

Unfortunately I haven’t had the opportunity to play yet.

ThatOneDude and Llabnip1972 and gunstarhero and I’m sure many others would be able to answer your questions.

I do know that you can plan on Tuesday Night when things reopen.

I’m near by you pm me.

I did play in the league in Lodi for a season. There are great guys out there! I really enjoyed it, but my personal obligations made it difficult for me to make it on league night. It was a fun time!!!

    Dear Pinball Community and Friends,

The past year has been difficult for all of us, not just those in the pinball community. The COVID-19 Pandemic has impacted nearly all aspects of our lives, especially entertainment. We certainly thought that as we cancelled the Golden State Pinball Festival in the Spring of 2020, that we would be having a festival the following year in May, 2021. Given the current infection rate as well as the anticipated number of people that will be vaccinated come mid-May, we do not feel that it would be safe or prudent to hold our event. Therefore, with a heavy heart, we are cancelling our festival for 2021.

A pinball show is a place where friends meet, shake hands, hug, play games and chat, chat, chat. Above all, we want to provide an environment where everyone can feel comfortable, safe, and the biggest worry is what food to try or which game to play next.

On the bright side, we are clearly on the path to overcome this virus. The Lodi Grape festival has assured us that we will be able to hold the 2022 Golden State Pinball Festival the weekend of May 13-15. For those of you that reserved a spot at Camp Silverball in 2020, we will continue to roll your reservations forward - no action on your part is necessary. The Northern California Pinball Association is fortunate that as a 501c(3) non-profit, our yearly overhead is low and we remain solvent; we are not going anywhere.

We look forward to welcoming you all back to Lodi in 2022. We know just how important all of you who volunteer and bring pins to the show are to having a successful event. YOU are the Golden State Pinball Festival! We appreciate your patience as we all wait for things to improve and we can get back to socializing and enjoying gathering again at pinball shows, museums, and arcades.

Though the Golden State Pinball Festival does not need donations, our good friends at Pacific Pinball Museum do have infrastructure to maintain. If you are financially able to do so, they would appreciate any contribution large or small, or even the purchase of one of their games to help tide them over during these difficult times. Donation information can be found at https://www.pacificpinball.org/donations

    With gratitude and anticipation,
The Board of the Northern California Pinball Association

I have a NIB AIQ Premium being delivered at the end of this week which apparently after trying alot of moving stuff around, I really don't have room for! So I am going to leave it sealed and have now For Sale on the Market. It's listed for what I paid for it but you can get it NOW instead of waiting another month or two: $7600 and you can pick it up in Fremont.

Any of you local pinsiders have quality first hand experience with the new GNR where you are also a big fan of dialed in? If so, which do you prefer? I hear great things about GNR but I’m in minority where I think dialed in is really really great. Question is should I part with the lawlor classic DI to cash in on a GNR?

I think Wonka and DI are similar but GNR is entirely different. DI is a GREAT game and GNR is even better IMHO. Is there another game you can swap instead? Looking at your collection, it might be time to make a bit more space and start saving $.
