5th Annual Oktoberfest Pins & Pints Party in Vacaville
Hard to believe we have been doing this 5 years. We will be hosting our 5th Annual Oktoberfest Pins & Pints event at the house on October 6th.
All Pinheads are welcome, we just ask that you RSVP ahead of time so we can plan on how much food we need to purchase. We plan on having Mexican food this year from our local meat market (street taco style). We will have appetizers/chips/salsa/dips etc. Come on over for a laid back day of playing pins, relaxing with other people who enjoy playing pinball and a good beer or two. Good food, good beer and good pinball. The catch for the Oktoberfest event, as every year, will be to bring a 12-pack of some off the wall brand name beer for all to enjoy during the event and have a great time.
The event will start at 2:00pm and last until ??
If you have any questions feel free to send me a message.
    Loren & Yvette

I plan on being there Loren,

looking forward to a great time.

    Quoted from shovelhed:

A couple great locations in Sac are Fanny Anns and Coin op. I know both operators personally and they provide great pins in great conditions. Also Woodstocks pizza in Davis is also ran by another great operator and friend, he also has a kick ass line up and are in great condition.
    Harley D.

I was just down at Coin Op tonight. Operator there is very responsive to feedback about the machines — they get a lot of hard play and he’s on top of it for sure. I haven’t been to Fanny Ann’s in years. I’ll have to check out there and Woodstock’s as well.

Bally Wizard! for sale. Not imamaculate, but pretty nice with repro backglass. And legs. $1350 obo. Would consider trade for a Class of 1812 or a Freddy plus cash. Or, if you have either/both of those, straight cash if you dont want a Wizard! lol.

    PM me if interested

Greetings Nor Cal pinheads. I decided to attend PAGG later this week even though I have been reading negative posts about it. I am willing to support this show because we can never have enough pinball lol! I pulled two machines from my collection in Southern California to share at the show and sell. I already loaded them into my Honda Van so please do not ask for pictures. Both machines will be for sale at the show and will be set up for all to enjoy. I am bringing a Monster Bash, and a Black Rose. I will be asking $7200.00 for Monster Bash and $2700.00 for Black Rose. Monster Bash has the typical decal peeling around the legs, and the typical mosh pit and drac track wear. It has a color DMD installed and overall looks decent. The Black Rose is nice except it needs a new front cabinet decal. Someone painted the front black. Both machines have been gone thru completely and play well. Please attend the show to play and see these games . Please do not ask me to remove them till Sunday at lunch time. I have committed to keep them there till then. Thanks, Rob

I have not heard anything at all about PAGG other than that it is happening, but I'm really not "in the loop".

    #5131 5 years ago

Never saw a call for volunteers, so assuming they've got it "handled". Gonna *try* and stop in, but I'm also >< close to moving, and need to finish prepping my own machines for the move.

    #5132 5 years ago

The cost to attend is only $20.00 for all three days. I am looking forward to playing whatever games show up. It will most likely be a smaller event but hopefully fun.

I'm shutting down my secret lair in Santa Clara, and moving all my toys to a new home in the Central Valley. This means that the magic beer fridge is now surplus.

    FREE!
Black Frigidaire Fridge/Freezer combo, 18 cubic feet total
First owner. I'd say HUO, but it's been in my secret lair. So, it's SLUO.
Manufacturing tag says 11-12, so .. 6-7 years since the R134a coolant was put in. 4-5 years of actual service.

The real question is, how much beer will fit? Here's the fridge section in action.
    IMG_0440 (resized).jpgIMG_0440 (resized).jpg

    Salsa NOT included.

Throw this into your man cave, and you'll never have to listen to your nagging spouse again. Just hole up in the cave, at least while the supplies last. Or, stick this in your garage, to keep extra beverages chilled for league night. If nothing else, when your spouse gives you the boot, you'll have chilled drinks while sleeping in the garage. The possibilities are endless.

    FREE on SATURDAY ONLY.
    - Bring a truck to Santa Clara
    - Bring muscle
    - Pick it up on Saturday
    - Evil laugh around the spouse while loading it with flats of Pabst Blue Ribbon, perhaps while playing TPCC.

I'll consider other evenings, but then the price goes up a couple hundred to cover my pain and suffering and 4 hours rush-hour stop-and-go driving.

PM me if you're able to commit to this.
