What would be a fair price for a pinbot that lights up but won't play, probably an MPU issue?

What sort of condition is it in? Is there wear on the grid of inserts, broken ramps, broken plastics, etc?
Without seeing photos, maybe $300 for a non-working beater game. $1200-$1600 for a fully working one in nice shape. Some sellers ask upwards of $2k, but those tend to sit a long time.

I made an offer on a project pinbot in my area a while back, but the guy didn't want to budge too much on his price either. Oh well. For some reason, sellers seem to think they are sitting on a goldmine with this title.
