That would be the Save Polly mode on Cactus Canyon. You have to continuously hit the center ramp and the right ramp to pause the train. It continues in motion otherwise all the way across the playfield (elevated) and Polly dies. The classic old style dramatic music that's played during this mode is a crack up.
