Posting for a friend to see if any of you folks smarter than I have any suggestions on this one.. A friend's Avatar no longer has sound. It happened (maybe a coincidence?) after we installed a shaker motor.

Doesn't appear to be any loose connections. +12v coming into the board looks to be around +12v. -12v reported ~ -14v.

I have another Stern with the same model number CPU / Sound board, so we may try his board in my game to see if it truly is the board. (Hoping it isn't) If it does turn out to be a failure on the CPU / Sound Board (520-5246-00) - are there repair alternatives or is he stuck with buying a $500 board?
