Hey Guys,
I have a BSD which I have owned for years. The sound has stopped working.
I know this machine pretty well and cannot figure out what is wrong. I've put pressure on the sound roms, checked the fuses, re-seated the ribbon cable, checked the connections....
can anyone give me some other diagnosis leads.

do u hear the speakers come on when u turn on the machine? u know that typical "pop" sound u get.
if not. first step would be to check wiring to the speakers, atleast thats what i would do. i do know i had a issue of no sound on a getaway and the bottom speaker wire was off...
