i just replaced the mpu in my stern stars but none of the coils fire but all switches are working fine game also boots with all 7 flashes

double check your connectors and board headers and then break out your dmm and check fuses and power. Check under playfield fuses too.

ive checked all that thats whats confusing me i get all the right voltages and fuses are good. when i short them on the solenoid driver board they fire just not when they are supposed to when hit with the ball

did you swap eproms from the original mpu ? Also make sure the switches are the right ones reporting in the switch test. IE: Make sure switch 1 is actually switch 1 etc etc
