This thread is interesting. When I was in my late twenties and I got my first two pinball machines I was the clown-vomit King. I was overwhelmed by the idea of having LEDs in a pinball machine. I am now in my early forties and have un-clown-vomited all of my machines. I will say this... LED's most definitely have their place in pinball and in my opinion they are fantastic for playfield lamps, especially in situations where the inserts are faded. But for g.i. lighting colored LEDs (meaning not cool or warm white) they should be used sparingly, in certain areas only to touch up or accentuate certain features of the machines overall appearance. It seems like every machine on the market now has been taken to the extreme with colored LEDs and I understand exactly why this thread exists haha. Maybe it is just myself getting old and remembering how pinball machines used to look back when I was younger or maybe overuse of colored LEDs really and truly does looks like garbage clown vomit. I am going to assume the latter. Maybe I am wrong. This is just my opinion here so take it for what it is worth. No offense meant either way.
