Color'ed LED's in the GI should be used sparingly IMO. If you want that original look use "warm" white.
I've used Cointaker LED's with herg 's LED/OCD board in my games. The board and software allow you to set each individual LED's brightness easily. In defense to some, the colors are always exaggerated when taking pictures of LED'ed games.
Yeah, this was from a company that is now gone. It may have been a year or 2 before CoinTaker but I cant remember. Compared to LED's now a days they were kinda cheap.
Jered Leto should get punched like that in every movie. J/K - he's an awesome actor.

Holy hell. This thing is a fully animated puke show. Video of it in action is in this link but I think you have to join to see it. My apologies in advance for any loss of eye sight or lunch. I love all of the comments from people saying that they love it, but don't know any better.

That Funhouse is a travesty of color. I mean WTF...
The PS crowd is liken to joining a Kool-Aid drinking cult. You cant reason with them.
This is one of my favorite threads on Pinside. Its like a beautiful car wreck that you cant stop from watching.

What's funny is that this guy was going to add a Pinstadium to his puked out remake to make it pukier.
Some newbs just have to put a light in/on every post, scoop or bracket then wonder why the switch matrix or power driver board is blown.
I think people throw the color leds to drown out a mediocre shop job or dog of a pin. The extra light is sort of like throwing a throw blanket over a brain splattered back seat so no one notices initially. Smoke and mirrors.
