Color'ed LED's in the GI should be used sparingly IMO. If you want that original look use "warm" white.
I've used Cointaker LED's with herg 's LED/OCD board in my games. The board and software allow you to set each individual LED's brightness easily. In defense to some, the colors are always exaggerated when taking pictures of LED'ed games.

They've been around. I remember buying LED's 10 years ago for my AFM.
Yeah, this was from a company that is now gone. It may have been a year or 2 before CoinTaker but I cant remember. Compared to LED's now a days they were kinda cheap.

I think people throw the color leds to drown out a mediocre shop job or dog of a pin. The extra light is sort of like throwing a throw blanket over a brain splattered back seat so no one notices initially. Smoke and mirrors.

Aside from a few inserts, I always thought of Space Invaders and Centaur as having fantastic black and white art. The added color just cheapens the classic look.

Your opinion is valid and its not wrong nor right. Its what you like or don't like. That being said its a 2 year old thread dedicated to over doing things with a bit of tongue and cheek humor. If you have a game(s) like the ones in the thread then you have to have a sense of humor or thicker of skin. That is where you are not getting it.

It has a cool multiball with a lot of potential. It seems like it was unfinished and very minimal. After a few games you'll have a hard time getting the theme song out of your head.
We did a few at the shop back in the day and it was always considered a dud. You'd pray that the file cabinet wasn't cracked anywhere because parts were non existent. The theme song rang in my head for days after playing/testing the game.
