I will say that when I bought my Scared Stiff, it has colored GI lights in it from the previous owner. While it looks nice having blue behind the blue plastics, red behind the red, and green down low, it was a little dark to play, but I was able to play it. Rather than do a tear down and replace all of the GI LEDs, I put pinstadiums on it and have them at a warm white at about 60%. I can now see the game a lot better and still have the color GI lighting which now is just accent lighting. The pinstadiums (love them or hate them) serve a purpose for some games, especially when you use them with white and don't throw more color on top of color.

I have all warm white on my Judge Dredd and my WOZ is stock lighting but I added pinstadiums to both of those as well and same settings. 60% warm white and now I can see the dark areas on JD and not as color blinded from WOZ. This isn't meant to be a pinstadium commercial, just bring them up to say that they can correct some issues made by previous owners. Of course, I could have torn into the game and torn out all of the old bulbs, but I am happy with this fix.

Not to mention the elimination of most of the heat the incandescent bulbs put off. Over time, the incandescent bulbs have taken their toll on pinball plastics. We have all seen it. The daylight LED bulbs are a great option for light and to preserve plastics over the long term.

Edit: looks like the guy right above me beat me to it! Oh well, here a few more of this "special" pin.

As someone that just lurks and doesn't really comment in this thread, I had to come out of hiding and just say Holy Crap!! That has to be the worst I have ever seen!

Just color it all...don't forget the coin door and speaker grill.

The powder coat doesn't effect gameplay. Only Stern is to blame for that mess of lights. I don't think the PC on that game looks that bad, but to each their own.

Ah, I see them now.. Yeah, when I use pin stadiums, they are only set to white. They have the ability to be pukers for sure though.

    Scared blind !

    Oh good god!

Ok, I bought my Scared Stiff a couple of years ago and it is clown puked to a point (blues behind the blue plastics, green down low). I had an extra set of Pinstadiums lying around and put them in the machine on white which counters the clown puke and makes the game viewable. Because of that, I have never gotten around to undoing the color LEDs because now viewing the game is possible. One of these days, I will dive into it to do a full shop and change out the color LEDs. In the meantime, it is "fixed".

Whoever owns that game actually used the pinstadiums to make the game even less playable! Wow... At least all it takes is a simple phone adjustment to put it to white, but the fact that something thinks that looks good??
