You know, I felt just a little bad putting in the half red half blue LED displays on my Pinbot, but since that and trans red and trans blue flipper buttons (unlit) are the only mods it has I felt it was tasteful, and not too disrespectful to the original look of the machine.
My Bride is factory except she came with black legs, never replaced them.
My Family Guy has a Laser cut custom painted aluminum logo sign topper, unlit, instead of the factory tournament sign, and was a gift from my wife. It also has a LED DMD in plasma orange.
So not a big modder but a few little things.
When these pictures hit my retinas, I fear they may detach out of spite, take a bus to Philidelphia, and leave me with black smoldering holes for eyes...
JFC! Put down the baggy of LED eye candy and ask yourself, would the original artist on this machine LOOK at it and think anything other than "what have you done to my artwork?"
I am all for non ghosting LEDs, and in the inserts, white LED GI... but the technicolor blasphemy of these machines is ridiculous.
@o-din, my lamps in my home pins are old school, but the heat of lamps in machines on site, running all day, that is a burden you can alleviate with LEDs. If I ran a route, my machines would have LEDs for their longevity and cooler running temperatures. For my preference, I like lamps over LEDs, and since I leave my machines off except to play, heat is not as bad an issue.
