you might like it, but you won't be able to see shit on it when you play it in a somewhat dark room. Tho, you could technically get away with this on Spirit, because the art sections are mono colored with black. There is still shading and various shades, which will be gone once you add a monochromatic color into it. From a distance it looks fine. if you want to actually play it, it will be a nightmare.

In my defense, the color scheme was already a rainbow. Especially the back glass.

Friends don't give friends seizures... unless they own machines like these... if you put anything other than non ghosting, warm white LEDs in a GI string, you should be taken out and shot at dawn. I still have trouble forgiving B/W for strobe multiball in AFM, although not suceptable to PE, trying to play multiball in the dark with a stobe light can give me a siezure.

But that was designed to do that on purpose. I have mine in a dark area and it is cruel. But then one time I found an AFM in the wild in a well lit area and you realize it takes away the whole point of the mode.
It is a great example of how lighting can change gameplay.

Love those Sunlight bulbs. 2SMD Frosted Sunlight are my go-to right now. No yellow cast like you get from warm white.

I was basically making a joke (even though I do use the sunlight and love them). Warm white, natural white, sunlight, they're just slightly different shades. But their differences are not nearly as glaring as say red, green, or blue in the GIs.
And I was just throwing out the buzzword for the warm light coming from the original GI bulbs more than an actual part number for an exact color temperature matched LED... I currently don't use LEDs at all in my own machines... that is on the list of things to change soon. Whether to warm whites or sunlight, I would have to try them both and see which gives the best results in GI. It is smart to put colored LED’s in inserts , especially red under red inserts, yellow, under yellow, green under green... every wavelength NOT filtered out by the insert is less heat energy being forced into the plastic and reduces thermal aging and pigmentation or dye fading depending on which was used in the plastic. You might say that putting white LED’s under colored inserts looks better and they probably do, but then the insert is filtering out the unwanted wavelengths the white LED is generating which leads to long term degradation and fading that a colored LED would limit but not eliminate. Either way the heat is reduced dramatically and the degradation due to heat is the real enemy in this equation, but knowing their are some science types on here... a quick lesson in physics never killed anyone, only the proper application of the principles learned has.

Yeah I'm not sure what Gomez was thinking on that. When I owned an LE I switched one of the colors (green I think) to warm white and it looked so much better.
I think it's because stern saw the idiots on facebook and other places, give kudos to those shitfests, and thought to themselves,. " I guess this is what the people want, lets give them what they want". Stern quickly realized that was a mistake and stopped doing it right away.

Yes, EVERYTHING we do sucks...we are just rotten people without a lick of taste! NO ONE likes what we do! From now on, we will JUST put clear light bulbs in!
