I don't know why people feel the need to want to purple shadow. There isn't even any fawking purple on the plastics or playfield. Only purple you have is that one strip for the right orbit. WTF people? Get your head out of your ass. Please.

My wife started reading this thread over my shoulder so I flipped through a few pages and showed her some pictures.
She said, "Why are all the games purple?"
I had no answer to that question. I can't figure out why anyone pukes a game, to me it looks stupid and spoils the game artwork.
But that's only because I'm a vicious person who gives heroin to puppies and beats up kindly old people and is jealous of "bulb artists".

I hate conformity and I admire when people live their own life and make their own choices.
If a guy doesn't go his own way through life, he's nothing.

Well, it seems those 1 or 2 people have deep pockets. That exact BK2K sold on Ebay for $3995, which is way more than the game is worth with incandescent bulbs, IMO

Simply not true. You can "rip" off people whether you have incandescent bulbs or LED's in a machine. Probably a situation were someone wanted one game for a "man cave" and had no idea what they were doing. I don't understand why some think there is inherent value in the mere fact a game has LED'S, obviously as this thread shows, they are often screwed up beyond belief and need to be replaced.

I don't think the game sold because of the LED choices. If I want a particular game bad enough I don't care what bulbs are in it. I've got boxes of incandescents and a couple hours on a Saturday morning. Games are sold that are puked, whether we like it or not. While it is true some sit for a long time, or get passed over by those preferring a classic look, they often sell despite the LED color choices. I really like BK2K. If I had deep pockets I could just have easily bought that game and re-bulbed it.
