Stems back to me calling out some Stern shills regarding ongoing production quality issues. One of them actually donated $50 to pinside after he found out that the "information" he posted was completely incorrect!
Had no desire to start a feud with these people, just didn't like seeing obviously false claims being posted and encouraging others to spend lots of hard earned dollars on products with known issues. So they've branded me a Stern hater, even though I actually love Stern, own TWD, AC/DC and LOTR, have owned T3, XMLE, WPT and would love to add TSPP and MET at some point.
Sorry for the slight derail, lets get back to colour GI fails!

Down votes in general don't bother me at all. I'm sure I deserve my fair share of them. Its the weird stalker ones that kind of give me the creeps. When you get one for the most mundane things and see that same icon. That is why I turned it off.

I could not believe how much better and how much more colorful my STTNG translite looked after using bright white LEDs.
But absolutely NO colored GI for this kid!
I have long hated the use of Colored LEDs for GI. But some of these photos are just beyond belief! There must be many people with major color deficiency.
Hell, even before LEDs got popular, some we're using the color dipped #44s for general GI. Yuk!

I know exactly to which game you're referring! BSD is one of my favourite games... but this one was no joy to play whatsoever. It was a mess.
How much colour you add, what colours you add... it's all a matter of taste. (It's like clothing. People wear what they think looks good). But if it interferes with gameplay I won't like it.

This just adds insult to injury. I spend so much time stripping LEDs out of games I buy. I have a small container of them. Flicker, and ghosting - that's what makes a game look the worst.
blue is one of the hardest colors for me to color match when Doing playfields. And my cable box has the clock in Blue LED. It's impossible to read ever. Just looks like a light shitmess.

You are about funny dude. I think you are giving me way to much credit if you think I have the ability to get someone to buy a game, that’s probably the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard anyone say. Now why don’t you tell these people the truth about how you love downvoting every one of my posts for no good reason other than the fact that you don’t like me. Lol its OK I knew you wouldn't like it. You'd like my other games though. I play with the lights on almost always so I've ever had a problem seeing the ball or heard any complaints from others.
btw they are comet frosted comfort brights, I don't know if that makes it worse because they aren't as bright, or better because they don't blind you as bad hahahaha, but thats what they are.
