I want to thank you all. This thread has been very educational. I have always been a purist with my machines, not adding any mods, or LEDs, but I recently purchased a machine which NEEDED a new translite, and case art. I figured I would try some LEDs on it since I will already be venturing from its original form. I was not even considering color LEDs, but now I most definitely would never consider them!

we try to educate the world. LEDS can be great. But for GI's, you can ONLY go white. the 2 SMD's from comet, with frosted daylight, make every game look natural, improve visibility even over regular bulbs. Every EM, early SS and DMD i have, have them (well almost, some I didn't get to yet). They are fantastic. Cool white, looks great with futuristic titles, space titles, and games with blue or green color pallets.

When uploading a gif select the GIF option for the picture.

Actually doesn't look too bad...
least the playboy you can see and play. All of this other shit with colored LED's in it, is unplayable. I'd take that playboy over anything else in this thread.

That Playboy is only playable as long as you only stay in the lower playfield.
I think it's the camera fucking with it. There isn't an LED out there that is ultra super bright like that. Unless they are running 12V on the 6v line.
