It's hard for me to think of one that isn't, but yes this thread needed to be made.
Now, let's hit the wayback machine and is this ground zero for them? Remember when people used to talk aboot Shrek and how ugly it was, and now it's almost the norm.
Quick search turned up this one. AS on owner I couldn't be more confused
Not everyones tatse is the same and some pictures cant capture the look. I do what people ask but I genuinely try to direct people in the right color options
Now I know we've been roasting on that Skateball for half the day, here and in the LED thread, but to be fair, he ended up with a reproduction playfield with all the wrong colors anyway, so he might have just said fuck it.

Needs a Tony Hawk fingerboard.

Hey Chris,
you ever get any trophies like that for your restorations?
I was going to send you a box of avocados, but the squirrels ate them all.
Quoted from Robertstone0407:. I do what people ask but I genuinely try to direct people in the right color options
Hey, no one can blame you for earning a living painting the most vile shit around; not your pick. I would never complain to my house painter friend what color people wanted.
Quoted from o-din:Hey Chris,

No I think I had a Harlem Globetrotters win a players choice a time or two which is a better compliment really. I doubt many of my restorations make it to shows.
People usually see more chrome, gold or powder as meaning better.Few see true built in quality at a glance.
It is usually about wow factor.
Quoted from High_End_Pins:I doubt many of my restorations make it to shows.
I guess I wouldn't take one there either. Too nicely done and too much chance for damage.
Quoted from PACMAN:Dirty Harry, Pepto Dismal edition.
I was literally looking for this very photo. Worst I've ever seen. Ladies and gentleman time to go home we have a winner!!
Quoted from Scoot:making fun of people’s pins.
For every trophy given out, there will always be a few that disagree with that decision.
And nobody makes anybody open any thread they don't want to.
any powder coat looks better then not having one. i'd choose gaudy yellow over greasy hand/finger prints any day.

so you direct them to leave them stainless, excellent.

Depends on the game. Some games there is no good option. As long as their happy it's all I care about

You are absolutely wrong.

that BoP is hideous and the lock bar isn't even smooth.
I saw the pink Dirty Harry a year or so ago and really wondered what kind of Owner would do this. This should be in the Textbook for what not to do to a pinball machine.
Like KM said, "I guy could get beat up playing a machine like that", or something to that effect.
The all red Monopoly doesn't look bad. I can see limited success in powder coating according to title.
I've always kind of felt there are people out there who just want their game to be "different". If it came with black trim, they would want it to be chrome. If it came with chrome, they would want it to be colored. I don't mind some of these though. As long as the color is coordinating with the artwork, I rarely have a negative reaction towards it. Having said that, with all the ways to spend money in this hobby, I've never seen an example where I thought it was money well spent.
Different for sure, like these sweet rides.

I gotta give PACMAN
credit for gathering that collection of... er... color.
It's not every day I
literally laugh out loud as I browse the Pinside.
Thanks bud!
Just doing my part.
