I had to downvote the OP since this title is so incorrect. Nothing is confirmed, this is STILL PURELY SPECULATION!

Quoted from riggy469:Except it is though
It is on Rick's fantasy list! Same as any other Capcom game he has suspiciously alluded to being a "potential" remake. Hell any game that has been made by anybody at any time is a potential remake. Here's another list look at the games I put on it! I will potentially remake one of these games this year:
BBB
Kingpin
King Kong
Goin Nuts
Quoted from NeilMcRae:I cannot tell a lie Doug told me that the remake of Barbwire was underway*
* I am actually lying**
** or maybe that’s what I wat you to think** LOL
I actually paid to see Barb Wire when it was in theaters. Ugh shoulda just spent it on pinball.
Quoted from PinMonk:He said fixed roms (to stop the LED ghosting) would be posted for Williams/Bally games in the future as a pretext for having the rom patcher that let people do it themselves taken down. That was 3 years ago. Has even one patched ROM been posted in the last 3 years? Nope.
What a swell guy. If anybody needs patched roms they might be able to pm certain people to have this done.
Quoted from jeffspinballpalace:If batteries can power a car with four passengers at over 100mph for hours at a time, can pinball machines running on rechargeable batteries be far off? At a date in the future, energy usage is highly regulated by government deep state and citizens (humans) are limited to drawing power only during off-peak hours. Hence the need for a battery powered pinball machine that can be juiced up in 30 minutes that can be played for a week. Lookout future, here we come.
If that is the case in the future then households would need battery banks to power the fridge and everything else during peak hours so you wouldn't need a separate power supply for just the pinball game.
Anyways, if someone wants to power a pinball game today with batteries it can be done! No crazy special technology needed other than an appropriately sized battery and an inverter.
Quoted from fosaisu:I think Rick has stated on Pinside that they would consider providing revised/enhanced code on remakes going forward (in response to questions about CC and CCC). This was some time ago before CGC became active on Pinside, so who knows if it still holds.
Rick is a salesman and his word is not to be trusted. It's been proven time and time again.
Quoted from colonel_caverne:coz it has already been said by Rick
Read what Rick typed again and tell me what it actually means (hint: it means absolutely nothing!)
It's just sales/marketing speak. Sure a lot of stuff COULD happen, but I highly doubt it.
