Hells yea!
Quoted from Whysnow:Nope, it was a remake... game was at logans hardware and it was just yesterday.
It was rough and I was comparing it to originals in the same row of games. AFM looked worse than the pther A title originals which likely have 20 years worth of similar play on them"
Can you post pics?
Quoted from DefDumBlindKid:Hear hear.
Which is exactly why I own one
Ok this is all becoming clear here, you own BBB and you don’t want it to be remade... we get it!
Quoted from pezpunk:Wow anything that’s not overtly sexist is a product of political correctness? That’s an incredibly misogynistic point of view.
I guess there will always be a segment of this hobby intent on being stuck in the past, no matter how ugly.
Quoted from herbertbsharp:I'm not sure where the speculation consensus is right now, but I'm going to go ahead and say the next one is Monster Bash. Check out what I spotted in the latest issue of Replay Magazine. They did an article that featured the Churchill Cabinet Company, and look whats in the background of a production pic: 3 playfields, MM, AFM, & MB
Damn Herbert nice find! You might want to consider changing your avatar...
Quoted from PinMonk:If you're doing a remake, do a remake. Don't start messing around with the basics. Bigger screen? Sure. Higher res? Hell yeah. Just don't change the experience, and that includes the art.
That Kingpin remake is already worrisome because they're talking about art changes (and other things), and based on that terrible one-off LE backglass, that's NOT a good thing. I wish CGC were just doing Kingpin instead, AfMr LE style, and calling it a day.
Looks like Kingpin is coming and will be available with the original Back glass and art.. see TWIP interview coming tomorrow.
Quoted from Soulrider911:I almost bought an MMR remake myself and talked pretty extensive with an AD, and the only difference is the shaker, the “plaque” is actually a piece of paper. When I was thinking of purchasing one honestly I saw zero reason to spend the extra $ on the LE
The discount on Color dots is nice, also I wanted black armor..lastly the biggest upside tot he LE was that it cost the same as the standard when it was available
Quoted from drsfmd:Source? Between the pinmap and known locations, there's less than 180 units accounted for. I've not seen any official numbers regarding sales.
I haven't played it. I don't need to... the music is horrible, and the artwork is too scary for many with young kids...
OT: Stern sold 500 LE’s in 3 hours
Quoted from jake35:BBB is off the table
Are you just saying that because you own one or did you hear some news we didn’t.
