Aerosmith owners check the welds on your Elevator VUK as they are extremely weak. DUe to the thinness of the metal tack welds are not good.

Also the unit is mounted topside but inserted from beneath the playfield.

There is one wood screw that is used on the bottom of the playfield to hold the unit in place while you insert the machine mounting screws from the top of the playfield.

In order to get to the mounting screws numerous Hex posts, screws, Nuts, ANd 2 plastics must be removed.

Photos may not load in order as I can never seem to figure that out but you can see the broken parts and the repair that I did.

With my repair the unit should really never break again.

Did you add the stiffeners to the back of the curved scoop or are they already on the game ?

They are already there however the welds on the 2 pieces are still prone to failure as tack welds on thin Metal cannot bind a sufficient amount of material.

Ah ok. I was wondering because I had to bend my scoop forwards because I was getting a lot of balls hitting the scoop then just jumping out of the top of the elevator. It bent quite easily so I was surprised to see your photos with the stiffeners.
