After a couple weeks of working really long hours, I love playing poker (no-limit Hold'em) with friends. Since Covid, we've been playing online https://www.pokernow.club/ and also using a zoom video call to make it feel more like we're all hanging out and less like an anonymous online poker game. We do this on Friday evenings, twice a month... from 6pm central time for a few hours (usually to 11pm or so).

We've cancelled the last couple of months due to some people traveling or otherwise being unavailable. Clearly we need more people. Anybody interested in joining? Just looking for a few more. If we get a lot of interest, we can just have people break off into multiple tables. It's just a fun game with amateur / wanna-be-good poker players. Nobody gets hurt, but we make it just interesting enough so people put some thought into their decisions. No money's directly involved in the game itself.

Ahh, just read your edit. We love it. Auto dealing and decision timers make things move along faster. And the zoom call makes it feel more like we're in the same room.

Yeah, a few of our gang blocks out time for it. Others only play if they have nothing else going on. I love playing... so I'm a regular.
