This is such a dumb decision. Having home leaderboards will in no way affect location play. I was looking forward to displaying high scores and having friends and family compete during gatherings. Definitely a case of seeing the forest for the trees.

I think that’s all most people want. Just make it an unofficial localized (as in only that gameroom) leaderboard.

Counterpoint - Leaderboards are a cool feature that lots of private owners would like. No one needs to know where you live. Location leaderboards are not enough to entice me to play on location and adding them to the home experience isn't going to effect operator's cash flow.
