Hello,

Looking for some knowledge around my current issue. I recently moved my NGG pin and now it will reset any time both flippers are pressed. I am not sure if they are related. If I start a new game and leave the ball in the shooterlane and hit both flippers the game instantly resets. Doesn't matter if the machine was just turned on or has been on for an hour.

I have gone through the guide and it appears the line voltage into the house is fine (115.2v) and I am getting 5.19v at TP101 and 5.15v at pin32 on the CPU board.

I also checked for cracked solder joints and re-flowed everything even though it looked good. Pins look to be in fantastic shape, as do the plugs.

The Pinwiki guide doesn't show what caps to test or how, as it talks about bridge rectifiers and this machine doesn't have them.

I guess I could just change them but I always hear how this is never the real cause...

Any ideas on what to look at next?

Finally had some time to look into this further and I re-flowed the P600's like you suggested. Also replaced the thermistor in the power switch assembly. The problem isn't as pronounced but still happens. I can hit both flippers repeatedly without issue each time. But sometimes it causes the game to reset. All my voltages look good so I'm not sure where the issue may be coming from. Would love to hear more ideas.
