My No Fear left ramp accelerator magnets are working fine to accelerate the ball up the ramp but when the snow hill challenge starts it fails to stop the ball and throw it down the metal ramp. It does however make the noise like its going to stop the ball but the ball doesn't stop.

Any ideas on what would cause this?

Thanks

Sean

so the optos work in the test and when i turn off the other 2 magnets in the test the 1st one does accelerate it.

When I play the snow challenge it is actually the second magnet that is the stopper and when I throw the ball up there by hand it works but when i hit it from the flipper it just goes through it with a little slow down.

So do you think just that magnet needs to be replaced?

Magnets are not expensive so I can try to replace it

Another thought I just purchased this game and it was said the Ramps were replaced recently is it possible its not mounted exactly spot on so its not getting the full power of the magnet?

ok thank you when I get time tonight I will swamp out the magnets and see if that works. I will let you know my findings

Thanks for the help

so are you 100% sure the first mag should be stopping it?

On mine its definitely the second one doing it.

When I go to the test I think its test 16 Accelerator test. All the optos fire in the right order and then when I turn each mag on 1 by 1 and close the door to test they are firing in the correct order a well.

When I throw the ball of the ramp by hand during Down Hill or Race Track Challenge it works perfect every time when I use the flipper it flies right through it.

It is a little intimidating to get that back ramp off I think I will wait for the weekend.

Here is a thought do you think its possible my flipper is too strong?

I just played a game and it stopped and pushed it back down about 30% of the time. so it almost feels like the flipper is pushing the ball too fast?
