Quoted from mollyspub:

What are people's thoughts of purchasing a No Fear with a rottendog driver board?
I've never used their products. Reliable

Personal preferences for me is original boards, however they seem to work, minor issues with the ones I have had

#501 3 years ago

Any other No Fear owners have Pre drilled mini post holes in their playfield? My first one didn't have it and this one does ?

Quoted from OpSteel:

Per Steve Ritchie, if I am remembering this right, the early run of PFs had the hole drilled as he originally planned for the post to be there. During play testing the games lasted to long so they removed it from production but they had already begun manufacturing the PFs. Solution was to plug it on the ones already made.

Thank you ... interesting back story

Not cheating when the game is set up that way , I will always use the "start challenge "

Quoted from Gorgar666:

WTF? Where did you get that?

Found the image had my decal girl make the decal, good friend cut the acrylic. Still to come is a flasher for the back to tie into Bonehead on the playfield.
Could have been a touch smaller but it doesn't offend me !

I was thinking on going with these.

Look great!
Annoying project but satisfying when done !

#553 3 years ago

Dont mind the alternate, however the flames on the original look better

#556 3 years ago
Quoted from Gorgar666:

Wow. Anyway I can see in action. Cant decide on LED or LCD. How does the white look in the snow videos?

Go LCD , personal preference but it's much versatile, you can have dots or smooth! I have my settings the same as Gorgar666. Bought an LED screen from Colordmd and sold it shortly thereafter as it wasn't adaptable as the LCD.

#560 3 years ago

The Colordmd for No Fear is amazing! Really the best mod for any pin ... reds - red ,whites- white ect.
Buy with confidence

#570 3 years ago
Quoted from misterhare:

No need! Product video is here:

This the LED version?
I use the smooth setting in the LCD

#573 3 years ago

Want dots , stay with regular dmd ....

#575 3 years ago
Quoted from Gorgar666:

LCD Can Duplicate the look of the dots. Right?

It can ... plus so many more!

That looks awesome.... DIY?

#602 3 years ago

Mine has the same translight and my playfield is the early version with the post between the flippers.
What's the difference you see in the translight ?

Never ... my goes directly into the loop

What's the best way to maximize points in video mode?
When I'm jumping tend to miss lots of points, any tips or tricks?

The dark left corner always bothered me, so I tapped a light off the GI to brighten it up

Quoted from Micky:

What metal piece are you talking about

Magnet mount?

#748 3 years ago

Mine was loose and just took the ramp off and cleaned the metal shield. Then I used an epoxy to reattach under the the ramp.
Looks like yours is on the top?

#752 3 years ago

Don't think it's a hack, this is my second NF and both have had this piece. It's made of the same metal as the ball guides and cut to precisely to be made after the fact.
Don't understand the need to hack this part, my ramp functions as should, even with a weak ramp shot the magnets will pull it up around the main ramp.
When shopping the game you could clearly see the heat/ dirt magnets perfectly aligned on the what I'm assuming is some type of ramp protector.

#756 3 years ago
Quoted from bowtech:

I have the same thing

Ain't broke don't fix it ... mine is an early production game perhaps deleted later just like the post between my flippers!
Bring it #Mollyspub... lol

Center post between the flippers on their game?

Apparently posts were installed on early production games. Removed because of long ball timea

on my NF I have the standard flipper , is it possible a previous owner " frankensteined" the flipper bat to the shaft!
the only issue I have with the upper ramp is that there should be a setting for upper loop champion...

What are these and why do I need them for my no fear

#911 2 years ago
Quoted from dapperdan24:

Nice that trnsprtr4u can be such a sweetheart in their reply though. Way to keep it classy.

Was just a little surprised by this question ... as far as I know No Fear is the only game that uses this bushing ?
In hindsight maybe a bit quick to post my reply.
I have torn down every game that I received and its such a unique part I thought it was fairly obvious...
Apologies to the posting OP
