Quoted from Anth:Anyone know how to remove the playfield on No Fear? I'm stumped.
Nevermind, I got it. Two person operation it would seem. What a pain.
It is a bit of pain to do by yourself but it is possible.

Quoted from OpSteel:Got mine a year ago, never saw the club post till now.
Has anyone done the ColorDMD upgrade? I want to, but have not been able to justify the $400 price tag on it to the wife.
It's on my list to fit a ColorDMD by the end of the year once i have restored my No Fear.
Hopefully someone fits one before then so we can see how great it looks.
Quoted from OpSteel:Nice on the prototype. I'm about to do a full shop job on mine. Doubt I will get as lucky and find that mine is
I'm really trying to figure out a way to convince the wife I need to go color. No such luck yet .
Just order it.
Forgiveness is easier to ask for than permission.
Quoted from pinaholic:Put Color DMD and LEDs
Looks good.
What setting do you like more?
Quoted from RedFive:I am getting ready to install my new main ramp. First, I need to put on the decals. There are 4. The first 3 were easy, but the last one was unglued from my old ramp and I don't know where it goes. It is square-ish, black, and is about 2 sq inch.
Anybody can tell me where it goes? Picture?
Thanks.[quoted image]
I'm half way through a restore at the moment and was wondering the same thing when rebuilding my ramps. I was lucky I had the old broken ramps as a reference. See the attached pics.

It is a Williams WPC Security (WPC-S)
Quoted from transprtr4u:Not cheating when the game is set up that way , I will always use the "start challenge "
My strategy also.
Quoted from yzfguy:Question for all of my no fear gurus. I can't remember how this works but in the beginning when you launch a ball I believe there is a setting that keeps the drop Target down so that the ball automatically is launched into skydive and returns to the right flipper. I can't figure out how to find that setting and when drop Target is up it makes the ball go down the out lane about 20 to 30% of the time and it's driving me crazy. Can't find it in the adjustments in the manual or game anybody have any idea?
It isn't affected by the staged ball setting ..
Like above, it should go down automatically when you launch a ball. Is your secondary coil working? The one that is used to drop the target down.
Quoted from lostlumberjacks:Need help. Got a no fear here missing the upper ball gate. The one where the magnet stops it and it falls onto wire form. If someone could post a picture or show me where to buy one it would be greatly appreciated. Mines gone and got no idea what it looks like. Maybe I could make one with a good pic. Thanks for the help.

You can buy them from here
Quoted from mikespins:Does anyone have an issue with their NF where the small flat metal piece above the magnets on the back ramp comes up a little bit? This happened when I first got the machine and I took that piece off and reglued it, but it's happening again, causing the ball to get caught up. I used hot glue last time, may use polyurethane (gorilla) this time.
What metal piece are you talking about? A picture might help.
I have not seen that part before on any of the No Fear pinball machines I have looked at. Mine definitely didn't come with it, and I finished a complete strip down and rebuild from the ground up only last year. The brand new ramps I fitted on mine didn't have that part on it either.
Personally I wouldn't bother trying to fit it back on.
Quoted from CFoote:Anyone have a source for a No Fear translite? I saw a guy on eBay selling them but his reputation isn't the hottest (classicarcades).
I don't believe anyone is reproducing these other than this guy?
Chris
Quoted from OpSteel:Yeah, I've looked and haven't found one. I'm thinking about selling my No Fear and want to keep my translight since Steve Ritchie signed it.
Here are two separate places....

What colour is your powder coating? It looks a lot redder in your latest pic but orange in your pics from a year ago. I like it!
