I’ve just joined the club! Going to do a full restoration on it and have all the parts located apart from a new plastic set. Does anyone have any leads?

New plastic set, ramps = new high score!

New translite too? Where did that come from?

Do owners here have a Center post between the flippers on their game?
Mine has a plastic stopper in it
I’d look through the topic gallery but it seems to be gone on the new pinside?

#773 3 years ago

I see quite a few now after going back a few pages. Should of checked there first lol
Silly me

Black Powercoated armor When changing these over , it confirmed what I already knew. This game has not been redecaled !

Fantastic, where did you get the apron cover? I want one of those!

Quick question while I’m restoring my game. When the skydive drop target comes down it is suppose to be flush with the playfield or sit slightly above. Mine sits slightly above that level in dropped position

#821 2 years ago

Okay so how do you adjust it to sit flush?

Quoted from PoMC:

My latest mod turned out so spectacular that I’ve decided to make it available to purchase.
$69 shipped to anywhere in the USA.
[quoted image]

Shipping option to Australia?

#832 2 years ago
Quoted from PoMC:

I was making a joke about selling the mod. LOL.
It’s literally two googly eyes taped to the skull. I did it as a joke just to amuse me and make my wife laugh.
But it actually looks pretty bad ass I think.

Oh right, stupid me for thinking it was something different now I'm looking somewhere other than my phone lol

Hey does anyone know how this plastic is supposed to be setup with the plastic layers? Mine doesn’t look right and I’ve got a replacement plastic

Worked out the plastic well enough. Does anyone know what this plug is used for? I can’t work out what plugs into it

Question. When is the jump ramp available to shoot vs the magnet holding the ball and sending down the left wire form?
I seem to get rejections all the time but tested the magnets and they seem to work fine

#843 2 years ago

Some more help please. My ball popper VUK will not shoot a ball up if there are 2 or more balls in the subway. It tries a few times but then stops making Multiball useless
Here is a pic of the vuk, is there anything missing or is that the correct sleeve?

Quoted from GRUMPY:

Fix this bad connection too. Coil power comes from high current flow, 3-4 strands of wire isn't good for flow.
[quoted image]

Good tip! I’ll do that cheers!

Hi all
I was in the middle of a good game (always the way) and every single solenoid stopped working
I’ve checked fuses 105, 112, 115, 116 and all those are fine
Any ideas?

#864 2 years ago
Quoted from DK:

Check the service switch on the coin door

You mean the buttons inside the coin door? All 4 buttons on the door working fine

#866 2 years ago

Aah I get the warning the the high voltage is cut off when I open the door so I assume it’s fine. Pressing and letting go of the button does the same

Here’s a view
[quoted image][quoted image]

You have a lightning flipper in there that is 1/4” shorter. That’ll certainly make your sweet spot smaller

#882 2 years ago

I just assumed it was the shorter one as I'm pretty sure all the lightning bolt ones are shorter, can't tell by the pic but also haven't seen a long shaft lightning flipper before. Also haven't seen the long shaft in any colour other than yellow which is a shame as I'd like to have a different colour in mine

Quoted from smcclain65:

Joined the club last thursday, having a blast and had a few billion plus games. I ordered a Colo DMD and was wondering what were the must have mods.
1. Die cast valvoline car looks pretty standard, Can someone show me pics of how they attached?
2. Motocross rider, same as above can someone show pics and which model/toy?
3. Upgraded speakers and pinsound. Has anyone done this and have a gameplay video?
Thank you all.

I have a 1:43 scale Valvoline car and mounted it here below
I’d like to see a bike too actually

I turned the staged ball setting off too, however I did mine because every time there are 2 balls in the subway, the popper has a real problem shooting one out. It’s a problem during Multiball in particular, it takes quite a few attempts to get it cleared.
The popper is nice and tightly screwed in. Any ideas?

Quoted from Paulb:

anyone know where this piece goes in the game ??
hard to see put its clear plastic, not the part the clips on to the metal ramp, Ive looked thru a bunch of pics ?[quoted image]

Those clear plastic strips attach to the backboard and bend down towards the side rails, like this

I recently restored mine and didn’t put that part under the new ramp
I would assume for home use it isnt necessary

There are a few different fire artblades around
Here are my custom done ones, a one off from NZ, I did the backboard as well
