Quoted from Lindab3773:I have ANOTHER weird thing if you're interested same game, Williams No Fear, when I put up a high score, the left flipper will scroll its one direction through the alphabet, but the right will not. I cleaned all the fliptronics photo eyes when I replaced the flipper buttons and interupters. The flippers are great besides this one dumb thing. This game is a learning experience for sure. SO FILTHY WHEN I GOT IT! I'm also getting a ball missing error but I'm still testing to see if I can figure it out.
Quoted from LTG:Tests - Switch Edge - push flipper button in slowly. Do both optos register on the screen, one at a time ? First one is for lower flippers, second one is for other stuff in the machine.
LTG : )
What LTG says - only one 'switch' (opto) is read for the initials entry - the top one. So, check that both register.
You may have a hard time finding replacement flipper opto boards. While I haven't looked in a while, I've seen folks post here that they had issues finding replacements.
