A few come to mind for me:

Minecraft: Enormously popular still (I think). This theme just screams for a pin. I can imagine the colorful pixilated artwork and images on an LCD, the toys, and the rules. It would be cool to see some rules and modes around crafting.

The Legend of Zelda: Another hugely popular video game franchise. There would just be so much you could do with this.

Wonder Woman: The recent movie was well received, and it seems like almost every other superhero gets a pin at some point.

Along those lines, Lego off of the first Lego movie possibly could be interesting, it had a lot of adult humor in it. Callouts by Chris Pratt.

NHL, with LEs for a few of the biggest teams. I’m not a hockey fan at all, but seems like it could be a good game with the proper theme integration, a la WCS94.

I want a strip tease pinball machine. You know, like those vintage ball point pens with the girl inside. And you turn the pen end for end and all of her clothes fall off.

Put a stripper in the back box and every time you achieve a goal some of her clothes fall off.

It could be called the Gypsy Rose Lee.

I always thought a Ren and Stimpy pin would be a fun theme.

I wanna see Phantasm with tons of cool magnet gimmick multiballs. Get Paul Faris for the art. I envision the match game call out being "You think you go to heaven when you die? No You come to us." when it doesn't match and the it's all a dream "No, it's not!" when you match. Gotta have a little diecast 'Cuda and some smushed up dwarf barrels. Quad shotgun barrel lock mech. I'd really like to see three machines. One in an early solid state style for the first movie, one in a system 11 style for number 2 and then a modern one covering all films.

There's an awesome Gremlins virtual pinball machine. In another dimension there was a Data East machine for the New Batch.

Judas Priest as a spiritual successor to Centaur. Kinda like how Dr Who is a secret Pin*Bot sequel.

Labyrinth pinball. Imagine that as a big old JJP widebody. Have one of those wooden labyrinth deals as a little mini playfield that you tilt with the flippers.

How did AC/DC not have a Big Balls multiball?

    War Of The Worlds (Original)

Ticket to Ride... Before you laugh, I think it would be awesome to have a pinball game that allows for trips around the country with a train theme on the playfield including tracks, lights, train sounds. Modes could be destinations, multi-balls could be based on multi stop trips. Tunnels could be used to good effect etc.

Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer !

A sure hit. Two modes. Adult - blood and gore. Family - Just hoof prints.

Add some corny country music. We'll make millions.

How about another shot at King Kong, as opposed to the 9 originals... Might hit the market right with the success of Skull Island and the other monster movies coming. John C Reilly callouts?

The Goonies (for goodness sake. “Booty traps” am I right?) That said, I’d want that done by JJP and they just did and amazing pirate theme so I can be patient on this property.

The Matrix - Theme rocks. Needs no explanation

The Legend of Zelda - the greatest fantasy adventure game franchise of all time. Period.

Jaws - yeah... could be pretty cool if done right. The digital version is.

Top Gun - sequel coming in another year or two. Combine the two and make a killer rule set, add scene clips, killer orig soundtrack.
Could be sweet but only if the sequel is amazing do I think this could be a relevant property again.

Rick and Morty - could see Stern doing this one. Fun and hilarious with a time travel and alternate universe theme all in one. Dope.

The Batman - once the new movies being worked on make Batman respectable again (although I did like Batfleck I was not a fan of
how he was used in DCEU) this could be done with a dark, serious tone. All kinds of kick assery available here.

Mega Man - doubt this would happen but few if any game franchise has had more sequels and success than the blue bomber.
Complete shots to fight different bosses. Wizard mode(s) could involve Dr Wily. All kinds of good material here.

Willy Wonka - on its way I believe (thx JJP). Jus sayin.

Oh and though done once before a long time ago....

For the love of GOD - JJP PLEASE MAKE A NEW BACK TO THE FUTURE. A cab that looks like the delorean. Flux capacitor. Oh my gosh I can’t stand it anymore. I need this pin in my life NOW!!!

    That’s all folks...

    #33 5 years ago

As far as no brainers goes....maybe not the hottness now, but still relevant, I can't believe they never made a Planet of the Apes pin.

    #34 5 years ago

Original theme idea 7 wonders of the ancient world it could like a indy adventure searching for the lost treasures. Or Scooby Doo

    #35 5 years ago

Somebody said Wonder Woman. Why stop there? Do a Monster Bash except with Wonder Woman, Super Girl, Bat Girl, and Xena, The Warrior Pincess.

Perhaps you might need a shaker motor to complete the fantasy

    Great idea on Phantasm!!

I would be day 1 on a Rush pin. There’s so much backstory and a huge Rush-iverse to go through. Bytor multiball! The Gangster of Boats mode! The Fear trilogy (with bonus part 4!), 2112 mini wizard mode! or the entire Clockwork Angels storyline...

    My Little Pony

I'm serious. We need more family-friendly games. The show is still in production, so it wouldn't be too hard to get the voice actors to do the callouts and you could get the actual artists to collaborate on the artwork.

    #47 5 years ago

UHF, but only if you can get Weird Al to collaborate on it. I imagine there would have to be some sort of polka mode.

For that matter, The Weird Al Show might be interesting, but I think it lacks the nostalgia factor of UHF.

Serious question... I just learned about these "bronies".... are you are bronie?

I am not a brony. My youngest son was into MLP when he was in preschool, and I watched enough with him to know what the show is like. I just want to see games that have color (not dark plus blinding strobes) and fun artwork and are family-friendly.
