Hi,

Hope somebody can help...

Just trying to fix my Nip-It which I have had since 1983... It hasn't been used for some 15 years and needed som tidyup...

Now I have done quite a lot, cleaned it everywhere, changed bulbs and what not, but when I put it all together again there were these issues, which I can't figure out:

The contacts/lights to release the second ball is permanently lit eventhough there is no ball in the hole

When playing both balls are put in play alle the time and the balls that runs out of play is immediately ejected, so there, are always two balls on the playfield

The ball grabber worked perfectly, but all of a sudden stopped working.... There a contact clicking, but the grabber doesn't move...

The two first problems seem to be som sort of a reset problem... As if the game thinks there's a ball in the hole and that the game permanently is a two ball game...

Can anybody please help and guide me???

I would really appreciate it...

Not quite sure what you mean by that. And "ball grabber" ... is that the "Balligator"?

Can you verify that the switch in the eject hole's contacts aren't touching? If the game thinks a ball is locked then that could explain the weird issues with the trough too. If you can find it, is the 'bonus hole relay' energized?

Probably the lock eject hole.

For the ball grabber aka "Balligator," check all the switches that are part of the ball grabber solenoid circuit:

Ball grabber button switch - yellow wire and black/yellow wire
Ball Grabber relay switches - orange wire and red wire

And check the fuse block:

5 amp fuse block - red wire and brown wire (check condition of fuse block/check fuse)

Make sure the switches are clean and adjusted properly...

For the yellow/orange Release Gator Ball playfield lights, check the following:

Bonus hole relay switch - yellow wire and blue wire
Bonus hole relay switch - white/red wire and green/red wire
Bonus hole playfield switch - white/red wire and yellow wire

Also, make sure these switches are clean and adjusted properly...
