I’ve always just put down a few layers of mylar, and that’s been enough to protect even my 10+ year old Sterns. Yes, it’s a PITA to cut out the mylar with an Exacto knife, but there’s an art to it.
Everything else is amazing, and I’m definitely interested in the VUK protector.
It is a balance. We can print this stuff insanely thin, but it doesn’t have the protection I would want. Also the thinner you go, the slower the print. Based on this thread alone I feel like we are going to need 40 printers .
