Quoted from cottonm4:

Mirco, I can work on getting you some scans sometime in next 48 hours.
Everybody else, the only flaws I see are what you all put up. Point any of them out and I will scan them.
1) Also, Stern used clear orange for the orange inserts. Just like you used for Quicksilver. Transparent. Not opaque.
2) The four red inserts on the right hand side for the spinner scores are also clear red. Transparent. Not opaque.
3) The two green inserts at the outlanes are also clear. ................................................... Transparent. Not opaque.

I personally like the opaque inserts that match the others. I never understood why Stern originally used some transparent and some opaque. Maybe that was all that was available at the time or they were using up leftovers, either way it didn't look good in my opinion.

I might wait till wave 2 with the 'new clear mix."

I guess I missed this discussion, what is the "new clear mix"?

I am thankful of the efforts on this project and I am glad Mirco is trying to fix the obvious issues of the missing letter and the rack of balls. But how about posting an image of the whole playfield artwork so the whole thing can can be checked over for anymore obvious issues before printing.

I will be working with Rick PPS to do a test of a 3rd or 4th playfield title. I am looking to do low demand playfields that others are not interested in doing.

John, what does this have to do with this Nine Ball thread? Seems you would be better served starting your own thread instead of hi-jacking this one.

I already have a new set of plastics for my NB from CPR that were purchased before I knew Mirco was making a NB playfield. I wonder how close the color match will be to the Mirco playfield? Has anyone been able to compare the CPR plastics to the Mirco playfield yet?

Any word from Micro if the missing text "spot all numbers" will be fixed/added?

Anyone recently purchased a Nine Ball playfield from Mirco? Highclasspinball said in a PM that the missing text by the saucer has been fixed, I was just wondering if anyone has purchased one. And if so could you post some pictures?

I was also wondering if the washed out colors on the plastics that DuffysArcade reported had been fixed? https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/nine-ball-repro-mircoplayfield-and-plastic-set-available/page/5#post-6115982

I already have a set of CPR plastics but I'm pretty sure someone posted that they don't match the colors on the Mirco playfield, but I can't find the post now.

My CPR plastic set doesn’t match my original playfield either. The clear protective coating is still on and I just laid the plastics in place over the originals. I was hoping CPR set would work with the Mirco playfield. Some of the pictures of the Micro playfield look like they would match but I know pictures can be deceiving. I will probably order a set from Mirco with the playfield just to be safe.

Quoted from Highclasspinball:

I use the exact same color mix on the printer for the plastics and the playfield. But due to the digital print, yes the color might look weaker than a screen print. Unlit plastics and playfield have the exact same color.
I could possibly print two layers of cmyk before white is printed but that would change the color unlit into darker versions.
This is the limit of digital print... screen is simply too expensive and that why not worth the effort in that small batches.
Regards,
Mirco

+3 on the two layers. Agreed that lit is more important than unlit.
